Study On The Anomalous Light Coupling Properties Of Gold Nano-film Structures

Gold nanoparticles have special properties such as localized surface plasmon resonance and catalytic activity,which are widely used in optoelectronics,biomedicine and other fields.In this paper,gold nanoparticles are used to prepare ultrathin gold films and Au/AAO composite materials,and a variety of conventional characterization methods are used to study their structure and optical properties.The main contents and results are as follows:(1)Gold nanoparticles with different sizes were prepared by tannin reduction method.The morphology and light absorption properties were studied by TEM and UV.The results show that as the size of gold nanoparticles become larger,gold nanoparticles change from a monodisperse state to a structure of nanowires and nanorings,which have fractal characteristics.And its resonance absorption peaks shift to a certain extent.(2)The gravitational sedimentation method was used to prepare ultrathin gold films with different sizes of gold nanoparticles.Their surface morphology and light absorption properties were studied by SEM,AFM and UV.The results show that the surface of ultrathin gold films have the characteristics of non-uniformity and anisotropy,and there are four resonance absorption peaks and coherent characteristics at 200-1100 nm.(3)According to the law of scaling,the coupling effect between light and the above-mentioned sample is studied as a function of wavelength.For gold nanoparticles,it is found that there is strong plasmon coupling at near ultraviolet 200-300 nm and near infrared 900-1100 nm,and weak localized surface plasmon resonance coupling at350-800 nm.For ultrathin gold films,it is found that there is strong plasmon coupling at near ultraviolet 200-500 nm and near infrared 1060-1100 nm,and weak localized surface plasmon resonance coupling at 550-1050 nm.For Au/AAO composite materials,it is found that there is a weak localized surface plasmon resonance coupling at 250-750 nm,and strong plasmon coupling at near ultraviolet 200-500 nm.
