The Application Of Shu Embroidery Elements In Regional Cultural And Creative Products

Shu embroidery,which has a long history and boasts profoundly regional cultural characterristics,is an essential and indepensable component of bashu regional culture.However,with the development of modern culture and the influence of multi-cultural values,the once-renowned culture is confronted with the current embarrassing issues,including inheritance breakdown and waning culture power.Aesthetically and spiritually,its old-fashioned style and void spiritual core cannot meet with the appreciation of the beauty and life needs in modern society,which leads to its low market share.Hence,further and multiple study on shu embroidery is extremely urgent.Using the analysis of shu embroidery cultural elements as the starting point,this article analysed the evolution and innovation of patterns,colors,techniques and material elements of the bashu embroidery under the bashu regional culture,meanwhile,studied the innovative application of shu embroidery in bashu regional creative design,by studying the shu embroidery collections in major cultural and art galleries in the bashu area,extensively investigating the embroidery heirs and the birthplace of shu embroidery and consulting relevant data such as folklore literature.Based on the theoretical exploration and practical research,a probe was thoroughly conducted into the shu embroil-ldery culture elements inheritance innovation and application aiming at the inheritance and conservation of intangible cultural relics.
