Application Of Cordyceps Militaris Extract In Shampoo

Shampoo products have been innovating and updating,among which the anti-dandruff shampoo has the fastest development trend.More and more people have scalp problems.Microbial imbalance,sebum imbalance or external environment such as light will cause scalp barrier damage and dandruff.Currently,commercially available anti-dandruff materials have problems such as high irritation and repeated dandruff.Therefore,it is of great significance to develop an anti-dandruff material from the perspective of dandruff generation mechanism.The solid fermentation material of Cordyceps militaris has natural raw materials,abundant resources but not fully utilized.In this project,the extraction rate of cordycepin and total sugar were used as comprehensive indicators,and a single factor-response surface experiment was designed to optimize the extraction process of the solid fermentation product of Cordyceps militaris.Then take the extract as the research object,evaluate its ability to inhibit Malassezia,moisture absorption,moisturizing,anti-oxidation,and anti-inflammatory activities,and use the extract as the anti-dandruff raw material to develop a natural gentle shampoo.Taking cordycepin and total sugar extraction rate as double indicators,through single factor-response surface optimization,the best extraction process conditions are: 100?,2h,liquid-to-material ratio 20:1,extract twice,cordycepin extraction rate is 0.846 ± 0.0058%,and the total sugar extraction rate is 5.829 ± 0.087%.The solid fermentation extract of Cordyceps militaris was subjected to gradual alcohol precipitation.The molecular weight of polysaccharides precipitated with 50% ethanol was larger,ranging from 1.159×106^-7 Da,and the molecular weight of polysaccharides obtained by 90% ethanol precipitation was smaller,with a molecular weight of 1.092×10⁴ Da.The solid fermentation extract of Cordyceps militaris was prepared under the optimal conditions.The extract has a strong inhibitory effect on Malassezia.Subsequently,NKA-II macroporous resin was used to adsorb and separate the extract,and it was found that cordycepin was one of the main antibacterial components.The solid fermentation extract of Cordyceps militaris has a variety of antioxidant capabilities.The IC50 value for DPPH removal rate is 15.38%,the IC50 value for superoxide anion removal rate is 10.7%,and the IC50 value for H2O2 removal rate is 0.15%.The IC50 value of the base clearance rate is 0.18%.In addition,it is determined from the cell level that the extract has a pre-protective effect on H₂O₂ damaged Ha Ca T cells.When the integral of the extracted liquid is 50%,the cell proliferation rate can reach 89.79%.The extract has a significant inhibitory effect on phorbol ester(PMA)inducing the respiratory burst of RAW264.7 cells.When the integral of the extracted liquid is 20.96%,its inhibitory ability can reach 85.6%.The moisture absorption and moisturizing properties of the raw material are better than those of the commercially available moisturizer hyaluronic acid,and the moisturizing rate can reach 81.7% after 48 hours.The patch test tested that the raw material showed no irritation to the subjects.The Cordyceps militaris solid fermentation extract was added to the shampoo.The proposed addition amount is 5% based on the activity evaluation.The prepared shampoo is processed by high and low temperature and centrifugal treatment.The latter system is uniform and stable.Through the trial of many people,it was found that the shampoo added with the solid fermentation extract of Cordyceps militaris will make the hair soft and shiny,clean and gentle,and will not reduce the foaming effect while improving the conditioning.
