Research On Profitability Of JiZhong Energy Resources Co.,LTD Under Low-carbon Constraints

The distribution range of coal energy is relatively large,with the characteristics of large output and relatively low price.The massive use of coal has a serious impact on our homeland and the best solution is to implementing the low-carbon economy.High pollution and low utilization rate of coal mining are true portrayals of the development of coal enterprises.Therefore,innovating coal mining technology,improving coal production efficiency,improving the coal enterprise system,strengthening low-carbon restraints management and optimizing the coal industry structure are effective measures for the long-term and healthy development of coal enterprises.However,the implementation of a series of measures such as technological innovation,efficiency improvement and system perfection requires coal companies to change traditional models,broaden industrial structure and invest energy and financial resources,thereby weakening short-term profitability and inhibiting current development.Under low-carbon constraints,how to scientifically and effectively improve the profitability of Chinese coal enterprises has become a problem which is concerned by many stakeholders.This thesis firstly describes the research problems and explains that research reasons,then introduces the significance of the research and other scholars' research on corporate profitability and comments on the research status of corporate profitability.This thesis chooses Ji Zhong Energy Resources Co.,LTD as the research object,collects relevant information of the company,displays the company's development and profitability status from different angles and then analyzes the basic situation of the coal industry.Through the selection of indicators,the profitability evaluation system of Ji Zhong Energy Resources Co.,LTD under the constraint of low carbon was established.Factor analysis method was used to analyze and evaluate the profitability of the company and the industry profitability score was calculated as the evaluation standard.The thesis uses profitability evaluation system to horizontally and vertically analyze the company's profitability,then concludes that the profitability of Ji Zhong Energy Resources Co.,LTD has many shortcomings.Finally,suggestions are made to improve profitability by reducing costs and other methods.The research of this thesis enriches relevant theories on corporate profitability under the constraint of low carbon.The research results can promote Ji Zhong Energy Resources Co.,LTD and other coal mining companies to actively fulfill their social responsibilities and improve their profitability from different perspectives.This thesis has 3 figures,44 tables,and 51 references.
