With the development of social economy,consumption upgrade,and social demand increase,people's requirements for improvement of the temperament and appearance modification have also increased.As people pay more and more attention to the pursuit of beauty,the nail art industry is developing rapidly.As a professional manufacturer of nail art,J company's investment in mass production and automated manufacturing is among the best in the industry.However,in the face of the rapid development of the industry and the continuous changes in customer needs,the proportion of product development in business operations of J company has increased year by year,making its disadvantages in product development gradually appear: long product development cycle,too much times of design rework,redundant and disorder product development process,unsmooth flow of information between departments,etc.These problems not only greatly increase the operating cost of the enterprise,but also have a serious negative impact on the completion of product development and restrict the growth of the enterprise.In order to discover the essence of the above problems and find an effective way to solve them,the existing customers and products of J Company were analysed in this articl,to find out the most representative products with its development process in detail.The value stream diagram analysis method is adopted to detaile decomposition of the development process,to find out the problems that commonly found in the product development process of OEM,which are easily overlooked-do not really understand customer needs,and no real process management method has been formed for product development.Aims at the above two points,this article combines the KANO model Quality Function Deployment through the research of the new product development process of J company to deeply analyze customer needs and distinguish the customers' essential needs and attractive needs of new products.Connect customer needs with product engineering characteristics,and finally form a quality plan to integrate corporate resources in the product development process;Through the establishment of a new product development team,adding a "new product seminar" process,to realize the formation of a comprehensive design plan before the starting of new product development process to avoid quality problems in the process causing "valueless" rework;By optimizing the organizational structure,eliminating redundant links in the product development process,making the process more efficient;Through set up a "project progress board" to achieve a result-driven model to improve the sucess rate of new product development and shorten the cycle of development.Finally,in terms of quality planning and process optimization,it shows the effect of J company's product development process optimization.
