Copper/aluminum bimetal cladding material is recognized as a substitute for copper material in the industry.It combines the advantages of copper and aluminum,and has the characteristics of strong electrical conductivity,good corrosion resistance and high cost performance,which has been widely concerned and studied by scholars at home and abroad.Although there are many researches on copper/aluminum bimetal cladding material,there are few researches on the static classical mechanical properties of the materials.In addition,the long existing in classical mechanics performance study of test method for the single and complex process,factors affecting many problems such as limit the copper/aluminum bimetal cladding material further development,thus combining a variety of methods,studies various factors under the condition of copper/aluminum bimetal cladding material mechanics performance has important theoretical significance and practical value.In this paper,classical mechanical tests,finite element method and Digital Image Correlation(DIC)were used to study the relationship between mechanical properties of copper/aluminum bimetal cladding material and their components,thickness ratio and heat treatment,and the influencing mechanism was obtained.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Classical mechanical tests were used to study the effects of mechanical properties of component materials,thickness ratio and heat treatment on mechanical properties of copper/aluminum cladding plate.It is found that the mechanical properties of copper/aluminum cladding plate depend on the mechanical properties of copper and aluminum,and are in the middle of the mechanical properties of copper/aluminum cladding plate.The yield strength and tensile strength of copper/aluminum cladding plate increase with the increase of the ratio of copper to the overall thickness of cladding plate,and the difference between the test value and the mixing rule calculated value increases first and then decreases.In addition,the interfacial shear strength of copper/aluminum cladding plate is different under different heating temperature and holding time.With the increase of heating temperature,the hardness of copper plate and aluminum plate decreases,and the hardness of copper/aluminum cladding plate interface increases.(2)The finite element method was used to simulate the mechanical properties of copper/aluminum cladding plate and its component materials,and the simulation results were compared with the experimental results.The correlation coefficient was introduced to study the influence of component materials on the mechanical properties of copper/aluminum cladding plate and the accuracy of the finite element simulation results.The results show that the simulated values of mechanical parameters of copper plate,aluminum plate and copper/aluminum cladding plate are larger than the experimental values,and the mechanical parameters of copper/aluminum cladding plate are located between copper plate and aluminum plate.For different mechanical parameters,the influence coefficient and difference coefficient of copper plate,aluminum plate and copper/aluminum cladding plate are different.(3)Digital image correlation method was used to measure the full-field deformation and strain of copper/aluminum cladding plate and its component materials in the tensile process,and the measurement results,tensile test results and finite element simulation results were compared,it is concluded that the displacement and strain of copper/aluminum cladding plate in different directions are located between the copper plate and aluminum plate.The primary strain measured by DIC method is consistent with the principal strain simulated by finite element method,and the maximum principal strain value is basically the same.In addition,the strain of copper plate,aluminum plate and copper/aluminum cladding plate in tensile test has little difference with the strain measured by DIC method,and has great difference with the strain simulated by finite element method.
