Research And Design Application Of Women's Clothing In Late Qing Dynasty And Early Republic Of China

The late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China is one of the important periods in the development history of Chinese women's clothing,which is influenced by both Chinese traditional "heavy luxury" culture and foreign fashion "Westernization" customs.Among them,the skirt is an important part of women's clothing in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.The shape and structure of women's skirts in this period were diverse.On the pattern composition,the late Qing Dynasty is fuller than the early Republic of China;The decorative techniques of inlay,rolling and embroidery were more exquisite in the late Qing Dynasty than in the early Republic of China,and also became the representative cultural symbols in the costume design in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.This paper takes the women's skirts of the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China as the research object.Firstly,it analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of the changes of women's skirts of the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China through historical data collection,literature research and physical investigation.Then it summarizes the characteristics of the shape and craft of women's garment front,and analyzes its commonness and uniqueness.Then focus on the thematic significance and aesthetic implication of the pattern of women's skirts from the perspective of imagology.After that,combining with the actual needs of consumers in modern society,the original clothing design practice is explored by extracting,borrowing,exaggerating and deforming the elements of the skirt pattern.In this paper,the design concept of Chinese traditional costume culture,adopt different forms of art to express in the clothing,to lead the fashion culture,form the Oriental aesthetic system of Chinese traditional costume culture as the connotation,enhance the national dress culture accomplishment,promote Chinese original clothing industry as a whole development trend from big to strong,meet the demand of the diversity of people growing dress,It reflects people's unremitting pursuit of a better life.
