Abundant and functional structures could be constructed by tin and chalcogenide elements due to adjustable valence states and various coordination configurations of tin.Among them,crystalline characteristics of tin-based clusters with specific composition and precise inner/surface structures can be used to establish the structure-property relationship.In particular,organotin is an excellent tin source to synthesize tin-based clusters,because of its alternative organic substituent,strong solubility in common organic solvent,unique physical and chemical properties.In addition,organotin compounds show significant application in biological fungicides,antifouling treatment,fungicides,photoresist.Compare with organotin oxo-clusters,the less electronegative chalcogenides,in organotin-based chalcogenide clusters offer better charge transfer path and semiconductor characteristics,and improvement of performance.These materials have great potential and opportunities in catalysis,electrical conductivity,magnetism and photoactivity by constructing various novel structures with sulfur ligands such as sulfhydryl ligands and metal complexes.We combined organotin with inorganic/organic sulfur to carry out the following work:1.Four isomorphic organotin oxysulfide heteroclusters were synthesized by using mercapto ligand 1,4-dithiothritol and butyltin under solvothermal conditions.The central metal site Sn4+was replaced by the homologous group Ti4+,Hf4+and Zr4+,respectively.The four isomorphic compounds have some differences in photoelectric response and band gap,and the central metal site has a great influence on their photoluminescence properties.2.Two novel coordination compounds were synthesized by using the mercapto ligand 4,4'-thiophenol and butyltin under ionothermal conditions.One-dimensional chain structures and 2-dimensional layered structures were constructed by the coordination of high value tin and mercapto sulfur,respectively.The 2D layered material has outstanding chemical stability,remarkable photoluminescence and dye degradation properties.3.Selection of different organotin coordination compounds,organotin chalcogenido clusters and oxo-clusters,were successfully synthesized in solvothermal or ionothermal conditions.These compounds have various structural characteristics,which can provide some reference for the synthesis of organotin compounds.4.The carboxylate ligand 4,4'-sulfonyldibenzoic acid was selected to construct a one-dimensional chain structure on the basis of the existing research of our research group,and the transition metal nickel formed a tri-nucleus cluster node and connected through the ligand bridge.It is found that the structure has high selectivity and good cycling stability in photocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction.
