| With the development of ultra-precision and high-speed machining technology,the demand for high-precision PCD tools is increasing.But at present the vast majority of PCD tool production and manufacturing still rely on semi-automatic machine tool skilled workers to complete the operation,machining accuracy and production efficiency cannot meet the technical requirements of current machine tool construction.In this paper,based on the analysis of PCD tool grinding forming principle,research and design of PCD tool automatic grinding system based on visual measurement.Firstly,this paper expounds the measurement principle of optical measurement system and the function selection of servo system.using image processing methods to analyze the visual measurement process,according to the result of analysis adopted tool classification method based on Angle measurement,based on the number of intersection point blank tool eligibility criterion,grinding allowance for optimal algorithm based on template matching.Secondly,for the development of the intelligent grinding system best grinding process,the requirements of existing grinding processes are analyzed and the advantages and disadvantages of different grinding principles are compared,based on bilateral symmetry theory determines the principle of grinding process,grinding process planning is studied by using the method,provides a basic guarantee high precision grinding.The geometric model of PCD cutter’s circular edge in grinding process was analyzed,including the contact length between the circular edge and grinding wheel and the cutting path.In order to make the outline of the arc edge meet the requirements,according to the geometric analysis,the swing velocity of different types of PCD cutter with circular radius of 0.2~1mm was calculated.The measurement and grinding test of triangular PCD cutter with a radius of 0.8mm tip arc were carried out.The results show that the system can realize the visual measurement of grinding allowance,and use the visual measurement system to detect the accuracy of grinding tools,and compared with the standard size of the tool,ensuring the reliability of the grinding system.The correctness of the optimum grinding process for PCD tool grinding is proved,and the error range of PCD tool grinding is within ±5μm under this process.According to the error source analysis results,the influence of grinding wheel wear error on the error is analyzed,and an automatic grinding wheel wear compensation system based on visual feedback measurement is designed.The actual wear amount is determined by reading the value of grating ruler and actual visual measurement,and the automatic compensation of the error is realized by the control system.The experimental results show that the average error of the proposed visual compensation method is reduced by 35.6% compared with that of the empirical compensation method,which verifies the reliability of the proposed method. |
