TCM cosmetology is a subject guided by the traditional theory of TCM.Through the establishment of a database of traditional Chinese medicine cosmetic prescriptions,we can carry out data mining to explore the medication characteristics and rules of external cosmetic prescriptions,and to provide a basis for the subsequent development of cosmetic prescriptions;Based on the data mining results,the study choose Leonurus japonicus Houtt to develop products.Method:1: Collecting traditional Chinese medicine beauty prescriptions to establish a database of traditional Chinese medicine beauty prescriptions,then carry out data mining analysis of external cosmetic prescriptions;according to the results of data mining analysis,setting conditions to choose the prescription to be developed.2: Extract and isolate the flavonoids,alkaloids and polysaccharides of Leonurus japonicus Houtt by ultrasonic extraction,then determine their content;determine the DPPH free radical,ABTS+ free radical scavenging rate and TYR activity inhibition rate of the three components respectively.According to the national standards after investigating the addition amount of the preparation raw materials,the flavonoids,alkaloids,and polysaccharides were formulated into a cream,then the physical and chemical properties of the cream were tested,and carry out the safety evaluation of the Leonurus japonicus Houtt cream.Result:1: There are 1,235 cosmetic prescriptions were collected,including 460 cosmetic prescriptions for external using,and 41 core drugs were summarized.,the flavors of the medicines were mainly pungent and sweet,and the properties of the medicines were mostly warm and cold,and most of them belonged to the lung and spleen meridians.There are 17 association rules,the highest support is Asarum ? Angelica: 16.96%;the highest confidence is Fangfeng ? Angelica: 87.50%;the highest gain is Angelica ?Angelica: 6.88;the most common drug is Angelica-Asarum(52 2 times),a total of 8groups of strong-linked drug combinations;7 core drug cluster combinations were summarized according to the cluster analysis results;according to these results,the screening conditions were set,and this study choose Leonurus japonicus Houtt single prescription for subsequent product development.2: The flavonoids,alkaloids and polysaccharides of Leonurus japonicus Houtt were extracted by ultrasonic and purified by macroporous resin.Their concentration were 2.27mg/g,6.51 mg/g and 48.12 mg/g respectively.Anti-oxidant experiments show that the three active components of Leonurus japonicus Houtt have scavenging effects on DPPH free radicals and ABTS+ free radicals,and they also have inhibitory effects on tyrosinase;the Leonurus japonicus Houtt cream preparation has no obvious odor,the appearance is light yellow,the texture is uniform and fine,and the physical and chemical properties are stable;the animal safety evaluation results show that the test substance has no skin toxicity.Conclusion: The data mining part of this study summarizes the medication characteristics and rules of traditional Chinese medicine cosmetic external prescriptions in past dynasties,providing clues and basis for follow-up clinical research and development of cosmetic prescriptions;a single prescription of Leonurus japonicus Houtt is used as the theoretical guidance to develop a safe and antioxidant cream with whitening effect which can be further clinically tested.
