Linen fabric has excellent moisture absorption,breathability,antibacterial and anti-ultraviolet properties,but its anti-wrinkle properties are poor,and needs to be ironed before wearing,which brings inconvenience to people's lives.The rapid development of economy and society makes people have higher requirements for the convenience of products,so it is very necessary to improve the anti-wrinkle finishing technology of linen fabrics.Linen fiber cellulose content of 70 ? 80 %,high crystallinity,molecular chain arrangement,wrinkle finishing finishing agent molecules difficult to enter the fiber internal cross-linking reaction,so that the anti-wrinkle effect is not good.Microwave radiation not only has the advantages of quick reaction,easy control,uniform heating,and fast heating speed,but also can reduce the crystallinity of wet flax fibers,make the surface rough,so it can promote the finishing agent and linen fiber macromolecular chain of hydroxyl cross-linking reaction.In this thesis,Transtex FUN 6500(hereinafter referred to as TF 6500),a popular formaldehyde-free non-iron finishing agent for cellulose fabrics on the market was selected.Firstly,the traditional padding and drying process is used to process the linen fabric,and then the microwave technology is introduced to process the linen fabric by microwave baking and microwave pretreatment respectively.The anti-wrinkle effect was comprehensively evaluated by the wrinkle recovery angle and breaking strength,in order to obtain a better anti-wrinkle finishing process for linen fabrics.In this thesis,TF 6500 is selected to carry out anti-wrinkle finishing of linen fabrics by traditional pad drying process.Orthogonal experiments were set up to explore the best process conditions:the concentration of TF 6500 was 140 g/L,the percentage of catalyst TF-651 was 30%,the baking temperature was 150?,and the time was 3 min.At this time,the wrinkle recovery angle is 144.66°,the increase rate of wrinkle recovery angle was 146.86%,the breaking strength was 339.51 N,and the breaking strength retention rate was79.61%.This process improves the anti-wrinkle effect of linen fabric to a certain extent,but the breaking strength is lost too much.In order to improve the anti-wrinkle effect and strength retention rate of linen fabrics further,according to the above finishing process,the baking method was changed to microwave baking.A single-factor experiment was set up to investigate the effects of microwave baking power,microwave baking time,concentration of finishing agent TF 6500 and percentage of catalyst TF-651 on the crease recovery angle and breaking strength of linen fabrics,and to obtain the optimal process conditions for this process: the microwave power was 260 w,the microwave time was 6 min,the concentration of TF 6500 was 120 g/L and the percentage of catalyst TF-651 was 30 %.At this time,the wrinkle recovery angle was 117.26°,the increase rate of wrinkle recovery angle was 100.10 %,and the breaking strength was381.62 N,the breaking strength retention rate was 89.49 %.Compared with the traditional pad-drying process,this process uses less of finishing agent TF 6500,increases the fabric breaking strength retention rate by 7.61 percentage points,but reduces the wrinkle recovery angle by 46.76 percentage points.In order to improve the wrinkle recovery angle of the linen fabrics,the linen fabrics were firstly treated by microwave radiation,then the anti-wrinkle finishing was carried out by the traditional padding and drying process with TF 6500.The linen fabrics pretreated by microwave were tested by XRD and SEM,and it was found that the crystallinity of flax fibers decreased and the surface became rough.Then single-factor experiments and orthogonal experiments were set up to explore the optimal process conditions for the microwave pretreatment process: microwave power was 595 w,microwave time was 15 min,bath ratio was 1:20,finishing agent TF 6500 concentration was 160 g /L,the percentage of catalyst TF-651 was 30%,the baking temperature was 130 ?,and the baking time was 3 min.At this time,the wrinkle recovery angle was 165.25°,the wrinkle recovery angle improvement rate was 182.00 %,the breaking strength was 375.75 N,and the strength retention rate was 88.11 %.Compared with the traditional pad-baking process,the concentration of finishing agent TF6500 increases,the baking temperature decreases,the increase rate of wrinkle recovery angle increases by 37.34 percentage points,and the break strength retention rate also increases by 8.5percentage points.Through the performance test of the linen fabrics after three processes,It was found that the linen fabric after microwave pretreatment process had the best comprehensive performance,the best anti-wrinkle performance,less loss of breaking strength,the highest moisture regain improvement rate of 2.68%,the lesser air permeability decrease,less color difference,and the washing resistance is the best.It can be seen that the pretreatment of linen fabrics with microwaves before the anti-wrinkle finishing by the traditional pad-drying process is helpful to improve the anti-wrinkle effect of linen fabrics.This thesis provides some advice for linen fabric manufacturers to solve the problem of poor wrinkle resistance.
