In recent years,with the improvement of people's ecological awareness,green pollution-free natural dyes are favored by consumers again.Compared with synthetic dyes,the dyeing effect of natural dyes is poor,especially the saturation of dyes need to be further improved.Therefore,aiming at improving the dyeing saturation of plant dyes,this paper discussed the influence of indigo and madder dyes on the saturation of dyed wool,then optimized the dyeing process and got the following conclusions.(1)Study on the influence of plant indigo dyeing process on wool dyeing saturation.According to the structural characteristics of indigo plant dye and the characteristics of wool fiber,the dyeing process parameters were optimized by single factor and orthogonal experiments with color saturation C value as evaluation index by dry cylinder dyeing method.The results showed that when the dosage of indigo dye is 2.5%(o.w.f),the dosage of sodium carbonate is 4g/L,the dosage of insurance powder is 12g/L,the reduction temperature is 35?,the dyeing time is 20 min,the maximum color saturation value of dyed wool fabric is 21.28,and the color fastness is 3-5.(2)Analyzing and testing the components of commercial plant indigo dye,it is concluded that the main components are indigo and indirubin,in which the content of indigo is 25% and the content of indirubin is 1.4%.In addition,a large number of inorganic salts are added to the dye.According to the optimal dyeing process,the ratio of indigo and indirubin in dyeing is changed to analyze the influence of two components on the color of indigo dyed wool.The results show that the red light of dyed fabrics is enhanced and the blue light is weakened due to the presence of indirubin,but the effect of saturation is small.(3)Study on the influence of madder dye dyeing process on the color saturation of wool fiber.Firstly,the dyeing effect of madder dye is studied under different p H values,mordant and different dyeing methods.The result showed that under acidic conditions,the dyed wool obtained when mordant is alum is the desired red color,and the pre-mordant dyeing effect is the best.The dyeing process parameters were optimized by single factor and orthogonal experiments.The result showed that the optimal dyeing process is as follows: alum dosage2%(o.w.f),dyeing solution p H 4,dyeing temperature 80?and dyeing time 80 min,and the maximum color saturation value of dyed wool fabric is 39.88.(4)The components of madder plant dyes sold on the market were tested,and the main component is determined to be madder,with a content of 40%,but some madder plant dyes also contained a certain amount of rubiadin and hydroxyl madder.Because their dyeing effects are greatly influenced by p H value,respectively in acidic and alkaline conditions,change ratio of alizarin and hydroxy madder element in dyeing,probe into its influence on wool dyeing effect,the results show that under the condition of acid hydroxy madder the increase of the content,the color is affected,including alizarin and hydroxy madder content ratio of 6:4,The color saturation value of fabric is 46.25.When the content of alizarin and hydroxyl alizarin is 2:8,the color saturation value of the fabric is 45.35.Through the madder dye wool fiber of kinetics and thermodynamics experiment,under acid condition,alizarin dyeing rate curves of wool fiber dyeing process conforms to the secondary model,adsorption isotherm meet lundgren muir model,and within 70 ? ? 90 ?,the balance of the dye adsorption amount,dyeing time and dyeing affinity increased with increasing of dyeing temperature.
