The understanding of 2-methoxy-4-nitrophenol is an important chemical product,in medicine,pesticide,animal husbandry and fishery,etc have many applications.In medicine,used for pilatory and cosmetics,fall off old skin cells and the formation of new skin cells,widely used in cosmetic industry.In pesticide,belongs to the plant growth regulator,with strong osmosis,quickly into the plant body,speed into the plant root growth rapidly,can be used for seed soaking,watering,and spraying on the leaf buds and cloth.In animal husbandry and fishery,used with feed distribution,quickly into animals,accelerate the growth of animals on the absorption of nutrients.Currently,the sodium 2-methoxy-4-nitrophenol synthesis process research rarely,more sodium 2-methoxy-5-nitrophenol research primarily.This paper aims to study an innovative4-nitro guaiacol synthesis process,and the products were characterized.Start with PE(1,2-methylene two oxygen benzene)as raw materials in the synthesis of nitro PE in dilute acid environment.PE nitrification is an electrophilic substitution reaction,according to the structure of PE,due to oxygen in methylene two base on two oxygen atoms directly connected to the benzene ring,making increased electron cloud density on the benzene ring,the benzene ring activity in electrophilic substitution reaction.The nitration reaction of pepper can be carried out in dilute nitric acid with weak digestion.Analysis of the effect of the resonance structure and steric hindrance of the charge separation of the pepper ring,nearly 100% of nitro pepper ring was obtained in the nitration reaction.Nitrification conditions:v(23%dilute nitrc acid):v(nictro pepper ring)=6:1,add the nitro pepper ring for 60 minutes,dropping when the system temperature control at 60 degrees,after the end of the drop,the reaction was 2.5 hours at 90 degrees.product yield is 97.6%.Secondly,the nitro pepper ring as raw material,after acetal reduction,halogen reduction and hydrolysis of esters,get the target product 2-methoxy-4-nitrophenol.Acetal ring opening experiment,The dehydration process of methanol as solvent.The experimental materials are magnesium bromide and acetic anhydride,The material ratio of piperonylic ring: acetic anhydride: magnesium bromide =1:2:1,Reaction at room temperature for 15 hours,the yield is 90%.Halogen reduction experiment,The same dehydration treatment of methanol as solvent,The experimental raw material is the boron hydride exchange resin(BER)and the nickel acetate acid.Material ratio of BER:Ni(OAc)2=50:1,Reaction at room temperature for3 hours,the yield was 95%.Ester hydrolysis experiment,This subject adopts the alkaline hydrolysis of target product2-methoxy-4-nitrophenol.
