With the increasingly serious environmental problems facing China,it is urgent to explore the road of coordinated and sustainable green development of the economy and the ecological environment.As the main force of economic development,enterprises will play a vital role in promoting the effective development of their environmental management.However,the formal regulatory system has had little effect,and the cost increase caused by environmental management has made enterprises discouraged.So how to effectively reflect the positive effects brought by corporate environmental management on the employees’ work input and final output,so that companies can actively participate in environmental construction? As an example of employees ’work and learning,managers’ behavioral style is essential for guiding employees.Green transformational leadership,as an extension of transformational leadership in the environmental field,has only attracted attention in recent years.At present,there is a lack of research to explore its relationship with employee work input and job performance.Therefore,this research The discussion will have certain reference significance for the sustainable development of enterprises.This research focuses on the employees of companies with high environmental protection pressure as the main research object,and explores the mechanism between green transformational leadership and employee performance in the Chinese context.First of all,sort out relevant literature at home and abroad,and design a preliminary questionnaire with reference to the maturity scale of green transformational leadership,employee work engagement,employee work performance,and corporate environmental ethics.The scale was revised and determined through a small sample pre-survey,and a formal questionnaire was formed for large sample data collection.Reliability and validity analysis,correlation analysis,mediation effect analysis,and adjustment effect analysis were performed on the recovered data using statistical software SPSS22.0 and AMOS21.0 to test all the hypotheses proposed.Finally,the analysis and discussion of the research results are carried out,and management suggestions are put forward on this basis,pointing out the deficiencies and future improvement directions.The main conclusions obtained through empirical tests are: First,green transformational leadership has a significant positive impact on employee work performance and its two dimensions;second,green transformational leadership has a significant positive impact on employee work input and its three dimensions The third is that the employee’s work input has a significant positive impact on the employee’s work performance and its two dimensions;the fourth is that the employee’s work input plays a full mediating role between the green transformational leadership and the employee’s work performance and its two dimensions;the fifth is Corporate environmental ethics plays an enhanced regulatory role between green transformational leadership and employee input.The conclusions of this study can stimulate enterprises to take the initiative to assume environmental responsibility,attach importance to the cultivation of green transformational leaders,strengthen the construction of environmental ethics at the organizational level,and provide a reference for corporate environmental management.
