The issue of global warming has been taken seriously by major countries and international organizations.Reducing carbon emissions is the most direct way to achieve energy conservation and environmental protection.The government and enterprises should also actively undertake the social responsibility of protecting the environment.Firstly,this paper quantifies CSR in the form of consumer surplus under the government’s carbon emission constraints,constructs a manufacturer’s total revenue maximization model,and analyzes the impact of carbon emission constraints,government bonus-penalty and CSR intensity on recovery decisions and carbon emissions.Secondly,based on the background of low-carbon emission reduction,this paper directly reflects the impact of CSR in the demand function,and constructs three different models of CSR operation,that is,manufacturers assume social responsibility,retailers assume social responsibility,and both manufacturers and retailers assume social responsibility.By analyzing and solving the profit function under different operation modes,the optimal recovery decision,social responsibility level and carbon emission reduction level are established.The effect of social responsibility taking factor,social responsibility cost factor and consumer preference on the optimal recovery rate,channel member profit,social responsibility level and carbon emission reduction level are discussed.In addition,the social responsibility level and emission reduction level of three different models of social responsibility operation are compared and discussed in order to establish the best operation mode.The analysis of this paper shows that,under the restriction of government carbon emission,the coefficient of remanufacturing emission reduction,the coefficient of government bonus-penalty are negatively correlated with the recovery rate and total carbon emission of used products.For enterprises with different emission reduction coefficients of remanufacturing,the government needs to reasonably set the carbon emission ceiling and bonus-penalty coefficient,so as to achieve a win-win situation of economic benefits and environmental benefits.Secondly,CSR has a positive impact on the recovery rate.The increase of CSR intensity reduces the carbon emission of unit product,but increases the total carbon emission of enterprises.Therefore,the government needs to balance the rewards and penalties between social responsibility and carbon emissions.In addition,it is noted that the social welfare maximization model is betterthan the manufacturer’s total revenue maximization model in terms of product recovery and channel profit,which provides a new direction for enterprise profit.In the context of carbon emission reduction,the CSR factor,consumer preference and used product recovery rate of the supply chain,profit of channel members,social responsibility level,carbon emission reduction level are positively correlated,while the CSR cost coefficient is negatively correlated with the optimal decision of the supply chain.In addition,in the three different models of CSR operation,when both manufacturers and retailers assume social responsibility,supply chain members have the highest profit and carbon emission reduction levels.Different from the previous studies,this paper describes different forms of CSR,takes the lead in quantifying the environmental benefits of CSR,and establishes the best mode of CSR operation.Based on the carbon emission background,this paper improves the research on the CSR closed-loop supply chain,provides a theoretical basis for the manufacturers and retailers in the practice of social responsibility behavior,and provides a reference for the realization of higher economic and environmental benefits. |
