| Enshi Grand Canyon has been thriving into a nation-wide scenic spot since it has been developed in 2006.Nevertheless,the gap between its safety management system and the explosive visitors becomes wider and wider.This paper tries to figure out its problems as well as root causes with regard to safety management by interviewing the people in the key positions and doing the research on-site.A safety upgrade solution is formulated based upon the comprehensive safety management of tourism spot.A portfolio of suggestions and action points have been raised for the tourist,scenic spot crews and local residents.The research focuses upon the safety management upgrade solution for Enshi Grand Canyon which is expected to be a guiding prototype for other scenic spots from the entire province.The paper consists of seven parts.The first part starts from the general description which includes origin of this project as well as its materials,and purposes in terms of the research and upgrade solution.Also the general research status quo,mathods with regard to scenic spot safety management.Important terminology and definitions as well as basic research foundation have been stated.Accordingly,the information technologies and the scenario where they would be employed have also been illustrated,such as high-precision indoor positioning system,GPS and GIS.The second part starts from general situation description including development trajectory and status quo.An analysis of its strength and weakness has been comprehensively illustrated.The third part dives into specific sections such as safety management organization,production management,geologic disaster management,social safety management etc with detailed analysis.The fourth part concludes with the problems as well as the according root causes in terms of Enshi Grand Canyon safety management.The fifth part makes analysis of safety management practices of Canada National Park and Huangshan scenary area,as well as summarization of their successful expieriences.Finally three aspects of solutions against Enshi Grand Canyon have been demonstrated based upon the analysis and summarization from the two use cases above mentioned.The sixth part demonstrates the safety management upgrade solution with specific suggestions and systemic solutoins in regard to each specific section.The last part ends with key conclusions and research innovations,further challenges as well as envisonings ahead. |
