Comparative Study On Ecological And Environmental Competitiveness Of Provinces In China

Ecological environment is not only the important resource endowment of human,but also the core competitiveness to win the future.The practice of human society gradually proves that ecological environment protection and economic development are not a pair of contradictory bodies.However,the current economic growth model of many countries is still extensive growth at the expense of the environment,ignoring the protection of ecological environment,causing accelerated global warming,biodiversity reduction and other problems,posing a serious threat to human survival and development.In recent years,strengthening ecological and environmental protection has become the focus of global concern.China,as a major responsible country,has also followed the trend of development,actively responded to the call,and made its contribution to green development,new energy investment,green technology innovation and other fields.How to improve the ecological environment in various regions of China and enhance the competitiveness of the ecological environment under the realistic pressure of tightening resource constraints and worsening ecological environment bearing capacity is a powerful grasp to realize regional sustainable development and promote ecological civilization.Based on the research on the evaluation and measurement of eco-environmental competitiveness,this paper firstly discusses the relevant theories of eco-environmental competitiveness,defines the concept and connotation of eco-environmental competitiveness,and analyzes the components and relations of eco-environmental competitiveness on this basis.Secondly,combined with the development status of China’s provincial ecological environmental competitiveness,the evaluation index system of China’s provincial ecological environmental competitiveness is constructed.Thirdly,by collecting relevant data and using SPSS software,this paper USES principal component analysis method to conduct an empirical analysis on the eco-environmental competitiveness of China’s 31 provinces(cities and districts).Finally,according to the empirical results,the paper compares the scores of the 31 provinces(cities and districts)in terms of eco-environmental competitiveness,finds out the existing problems,and puts forward policy Suggestions on how to improve the eco-environmental competitiveness of China’s provinces.
