Environmental Protection Investment Effect Of Jingxing Paper Industry

Since the reform and opening up,China’s social development has been rapidly improved,and people’s living standards have increased steadily.Under the premise of ensuring economic progress,the solution of ecological health problems has become an urgent task.The state has formulated a series of legal provisions and policies and measures to restrict the production and operation of enterprises,encourage enterprises to carry out environmental control work,and urge enterprises to increase investment in environmental protection.In 2020,the government work report pointed out that with the continuous promotion of pollution prevention and control work,China’s ecological environment quality has been greatly improved,showing a steady to good trend.As the core of industrial industry,paper industry is the key object of national pollution prevention and control.On the premise of complying with the environmental policy,environmental protection investment and other measures advocated by all walks of life have a certain impact on enterprises.Based on this,this paper will take Zhejiang Jingxing Paper Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "Jingxing paper industry")as an example to explore the effect of environmental protection investment of Jingxing paper industry on enterprise operation.Firstly,this paper combs the domestic and foreign scholars’ research literature on environmental protection investment and environmental protection investment effect,defines the two concepts,and takes stakeholder theory,social responsibility theory and sustainable development theory as the theoretical basis of the article.According to the relevant research experience,according to the characteristics of environmental protection investment activities of Jingxing paper industry,case analysis method and other methods are used to analyze the environmental protection investment effect of Jingxing paper industry.This paper mainly analyzes the economic effect of environmental protection investment from the aspects of financial performance,enterprise value,financing ability and innovation performance;the environmental effect of environmental protection investment is analyzed from the aspects of achievements in energy conservation and emission reduction achievements,environmental pollution control level and environmental benefits,and draws the following analysis conclusion: in terms of economic effect,the environmental protection investment of Jingxing paper industry promotes the financial performance However,it did not play a role in the steady growth of enterprise value.Sustainable investment in environmental protection will enhance the corporate image,reduce financing constraints,and stimulate green innovation,promote enterprises to develop green products,so as to broaden the product market and improve market competitiveness.In terms of environmental effect,environmental protection investment can promote enterprises to complete the work of energy conservation and emission reduction,which can not only effectively improve the environmental quality,but also save production costs and bring environmental benefits to enterprises.Finally,according to the case analysis of Jingxing paper industry,the paper puts forward some suggestions on how to make reasonable environmental protection investment and make environmental protection investment decision under the current severe environmental background.At the same time,it can enlighten other enterprises in the industry and help them understand the environment more accurately and adjust their operation and management,so as to achieve a win-win situation of economic growth and environmental protection.
