Research On The Alienation Of Megaproject Environmental Responsibility Behavior From The Perspective Of Configuration

Megaproject environmental responsibility is very important for the sustainable development of megaprojects,and has attracted more and more attention in the practice of megaprojects.However,megaprojects face complex internal and external environment,complex uncertain factors,involving a large number of stakeholders,and uncertainty of subject behaviors.It is easy to produce the phenomenon of environmental responsibility behavior alienation.The alienation mechanism of megaproject environmental responsibility behavior is extremely complex,the governance of alienation behavior is difficult,and there is a lack of effective governance countermeasures.Therefore,it has important theoretical significance and practical value to study the alienation of megaproject environmental responsibility behavior and effectively curb the alienation of megaproject environmental responsibility behavior.Following the research idea of “alienation connotation-alienation situation-alienation mechanism-governance countermeasure”,this paper systematically studies the alienation of megaproject environmental responsibility behavior from the perspective of configuration.Firstly,through literature review and expert interviews,the relevant behavior concepts of megaproject social responsibility are clarified,and the connotation and characteristics of megaproject environmental responsibility behavior alienation are defined.Secondly,based on the characteristics of megaprojects,combined with the Organizational Field Theory,this paper constructs the situation analysis model of megaproject environmental responsibility behavior alienation,and analyzes the situation of behavior alienation.Then,this paper extracts the influencing factors of megaproject environmental responsibility behavior alienation based on the Fraud Triangle Theory,analyzes the "net effect" of influencing factors by using the partial least squares structural equation modeling(PLS-SEM),and uses the qualitative comparative analysis(QCA)to explore the "combination effect" of influencing factors and clarify the alienation mechanism of megaproject environmental responsibility behavior.Finally,on the basis of clarifying the mechanism of behavior alienation,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the governance of megaproject environmental responsibility behavior alienation.The results show that: the megaproject environmental responsibility behavior alienation is an opportunistic behavior,with the characteristics of interaction,profit-seeking and concealment.The alienation situation of megaproject environmental responsibility behavior is composed of organization population,field institutional system,field relationship system,field technology system and field collective behavior.The alienation of megaproject environmental responsibility behavior is the result of the combination of influencing factors rather than the independent effect of single factor.The economic pressure factor is an important basic factor of driving the alienation of environmental responsibility behavior.There are nine configurations of influencing factors,including three driving modes: “economic pressure + learning effect”driving mode,“institutional defects + moral disengagement” driving mode,and “information asymmetry + economic pressure + expectation pressure” driving mode,showing eight alienation rules of megaproject environmental responsibility behavior.Accordingly,the paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions on the governance of environmental responsibility behavior alienation with "one governance principle,two main stages,and three key control" as the core.The research results are helpful to effectively curb the alienation of megaproject environmental responsibility behavior,and have certain practical reference significance for the management of megaproject environmental responsibility.
