In recent years, fall from height accidents have received more and more attention and become the focus of safety problems in the construction field, which is characterized by many dangerous sources, wide area and large difficulty factor of safety risk control, and unsafe habit behavior is also an important reason for the occurrence of fall from height accidents. Therefore, this study has a certain degree of theoretical significance and practical value to change the unsafe habit behavior of construction workers and effectively prevent the occurrence of high building fall accidents. In this paper, through the "2-4" model of behavioral safety,a total of 786 unsafe actions were extracted from 150 fall accidents and divided into 7 major categories and32 sub-categories,from which the main influencing factors of unsafe habit behavior(safety knowledge, safety awareness and safety habits)were sorted out,and the causal model of unsafe habit behavior was constructed. The model data were analyzed and processed by SPSS software and AMOS software. The results showed that: safety knowledge, safety awareness and safety habits have a significant positive relationship on unsafe habit behavior;safety awareness plays a mediating role in the path of "safety knowledge-safety awareness-safety habits";safety knowledge and safety awareness have a significant positive effect on safety habits.Based on the above study,a model of unsafe habit behavior change was constructed by combining the causative model of unsafe habit behavior and drawing on the rational behavior model. The model was validated in SPSS software and AMOS software based on 381 valid questionnaires collected. The model confirmed that the change of habitual behavior was significantly influenced by the factors of behavioral motivation, job satisfaction, behavioral willingness, and safety climate;behavioral willingness played a mediating role in the paths of "behavioral motivation-behavioral willingness-behavioral change" and "job satisfaction-behavioral willingness-behavioral change".Based on the results of the model,we propose three related safety management methods of "see, hear and do",which can effectively change habitual unsafe behaviors and provide some theoretical guidance and support for construction safety management.
