Investigation Report On Pottery Making Technology And Industry Status Of Doumu Ancient Kiln In Qianshan,Anhui Province

Traditional handicraft originated from primitive society and has a long history,including the production tools and techniques of pottery.Everything in the world has its ups and downs.After entering the modern society,the traditional handicraft skills have been impacted by modern science and technology and industry,and the traditional skills are facing unprecedented doom.Although the traditional handicraft skills are struggling,they still have indomitable vitality to survive.Dougu Pottery,with a history of more than6,000 years,has a reputation of "the hometown of thousands of ceramics".Since the birth of pottery,it has been the largest number of artificial relics in archaeological remains.Pottery shapes are complex and changeable,which is closely related to most people’s life and production,and almost participates in all people’s social life.Doumu pottery conveys the life feelings of potters,and forms a unique ancient pottery culture,which has been passed down to this day in its original form.How to absorb the wisdom of the ancestors left by the ancient traditional handicraft skills,conform to the times and explore the survival way of the ancient pottery-making skills in the new era and new ideas is worth studying by today’s scholars.The protection,excavation and arrangement of the ancient non-legacy pottery culture is a top priority,and the reconstruction of ancient pottery technology in modern society has become a new topic.The problem to be solved in this paper is to understand the history and source of pottery making in Doumu Township by deeply exploring the human geography and folk customs of Doumu Township in Qianshan and Caizi Lake,visiting villagers on the spot and consulting relevant literature records.Through case analysis,visit Shilin Village and Xianjia Village,learn about the ancient pottery-making skills and firing skills of Doumu,compare them with the pottery-making industries in the surrounding areas,sum up the similarities and differences,and reflect on how to better inherit,develop and continue this ancient traditional folk handicraft skills in today’s society,so that it can shine brilliantly.Although Pox Pottery is only a local area,it also forms an overall ecology of social structure composed of environmental ecology,economic exchanges and so on.Inheriting the ancient pottery-making skills is not only the revival of traditional crafts,but also the reconstruction and reconstruction of traditional culture.
