Agricultural Production Efficiency And Its Influencing Factors In Shandong Province Under Carbon Emission Constraints

Shandong province is an important agricultural production base in China,which occupies an important position in China’s agricultural development.However,the current agricultural development has problems such as difficulties in improving agricultural production efficiency and low efficiency,and the national level also proposes to attach importance to the strategic significance of agricultural production in national economy and people’s livelihood.To improve the quality and efficiency of agricultural production in Shandong province is of great significance to agricultural development in eastern China and economic progress and growth in China.This paper takes Shandong Province as the research scope,uses the super-efficiency DEA model to measure agricultural production efficiency and makes longitudinal and horizontal comparison,and then uses Malmquist index model to measure the time dynamic change of agricultural production efficiency.Finally,Tobit regression analysis was used to study the influencing factors of agricultural production efficiency at provincial level and regional level.The empirical results show that: from the perspective of development trend,the agricultural production efficiency of Shandong province has been steadily improved,only Rizhao,Weihai,Zaozhuang three cities to the agricultural production efficiency state.The agricultural production efficiency of Heze city is only 0.62,there is a big gap between the provincial average level.In Malmquist index ways,the value of the 16 cities in shandong province were greater than 1,it shows that shandong province agricultural production value as a whole is to improve efficiency,the binzhou city for performance is good,rise to 26%,this shows that the binzhou city agricultural production technology has reached the high level,strong innovation ability,thus promoting the rapid development of agriculture.The analysis of influencing factors shows that the degree of opening to the outside world and effective irrigation rate have a significant positive impact on agricultural production efficiency in Shandong Province as a whole.From distinguish three main influencing factors of the empirical results,the authors opening to the outside world degree and the effective evaluation and the overall situation of shandong province,a significant positive influence on efficiency in agricultural production,agriculture,forestry and water expenditure has significant positive influence to the provincial capital economic circle,has a negative influence on the southern economy,The reason may be that the economic and social development of south Shandong economic circle is relatively backward and the financial input for supporting agricultural development is relatively insufficient.The structure of agricultural production has a significant positive impact on the economic circle of the provincial capital,which may be because the region attaches great importance to planting and forms a scale advantage.Based on the empirical study of efficiency and influencing factors,some policy suggestions were put forward for shandong agricultural development:Expand opening to the outside world,vigorously and efficiently develop water-saving irrigation agricultural technology,so as to improve the comparative income ratio of agricultural production.We should increase investment in the research and development of green production technology,improve the level of low-carbon agricultural mechanization,appropriately promote the scale operation of agricultural land and other effective strategies.In conclusion,it is expected to be beneficial to the improvement of agricultural production efficiency in Shandong province under the background of carbon neutrality and carbon peak.Based on empirical research,problems existing in agricultural production can be seen more intuitively.Based on overcoming the problems and aiming at carbon emission constraints,the following targeted suggestions are put forward: Promote opening up in various fields,develop water-saving and efficient irrigation technology in various fields and aspects,and increase investment in research and development of green production technology,improve the level of low-carbon agricultural mechanization,appropriately promote large-scale agricultural land operation and other effective strategies.To sum up,it is expected to be beneficial to the improvement of agricultural production efficiency in Shandong province under the background of carbon peak and carbon target.
