Safe production has become an important part of improving the quality of economic development.Frequent production safety accidents not only bring economic losses to relevant enterprises and investors, but also bring serious harm to the life and property safety of the public. At the same time,it also represents the operation and management problems of relevant industries, especially high-risk industries: for example, some enterprises have weak safety management awareness, unclear responsibility of safety production subjects, and pay too much attention to production while ignoring safety management and other prominent problems. For enterprises, these safety accidents will not only cause economic losses of enterprises, but also conducive to the formulation and implementation of long-term development strategies of enterprises, and endangers the sustainable management of enterprises; For the country and society, the existence of a large number of safety accidents is not conducive to the healthy operation and development of the national economy, but also causes certain social panic, which is not conducive to the long-term survival and development of human society. In the safety production of high-risk enterprises, the main body of the enterprise should assume the main responsibility of safety production, and the management level controls the company to a certain extent, because they know the operation of the company better than the shareholders.Behind every accident, there is a reflection of the management activities, which may be indifferent to the importance of safety production, lax safety performance management, and disregard for safety production related policies. Therefore, the safety performance of enterprises in high-risk industries is closely related to the management. In addition,as internal control plays an increasingly important role today,it is very important to explore the role of internal control in corporate governance. In order to establish and improve the work safety system in high-risk industries as soon as possible, since the promulgation and implementation of the Work Safety Law in2002,relevant government departments have continuously formulated and promulgated regulations and policies on work safety. With the implementation of relevant policies and regulations and the increase of production safety publicity, the consciousness of safety production responsibility of listed companies is also constantly strengthened, and the attention of all sectors of society to high-risk industries is more and more extensive. There are more and more studies on the safety performance of listed companies in high-risk industries in the academic and practical circles, but in general, the research on the management power and safety performance in high-risk industries is not sufficient.First of all, this paper expounds and analyzes the current situation of safety production in high-risk industries, and puts forward the significance and necessity of research on management power and safety performance in high-risk industries.Secondly,on the basis of previous studies, this paper defines the concept.Based on relevant theories, this paper attempts to study the correlation between management power and safety performance in high-risk industries from the perspective of management power. At the same time, from the micro perspective of internal control, the moderating effect of internal control effectiveness on the relationship between the two is discussed.Based on the specific research scope of high-risk industries, this paper proposed two hypotheses, defined the meaning of relevant variables and their measurement methods, collected and sorted out relevant data, and completed the regression analysis of samples in the multiple linear regression model designed. The sample regression results fully support the research hypothesis proposed above: management power is negatively correlated with safety performance. At the same time, robustness test and endogeneity test were carried out in this paper, and the regression results did not change, indicating that the model design and research conclusions of this paper are convincing. This paper further enrich the research contents of management power and safety performance, puts forward a new idea for the safety of the enterprise performance management, management power and the social performance, corporate value, sustainable development,to improve safety performance of high-risk industries,to reduce enterprise security accident, improving corporate governance has a realistic significance.
