Study On Perfecting Environmental Labeling System In China

Environmental labeling system is a relatively new way of environmental management,which has been established and developed in many countries.The biggest characteristic of this system is that it follows the mode of voluntary application.Through the behavior of applicants applying for environmental marks voluntarily,it can not only help applicants improve their reputation,so as to achieve economic benefits,but also realize the purpose of environmental protection and make up for the shortcomings and defects of traditional environmental law enforcement in environmental protection.However,the environmental labeling system has not been developed for 30 years in China,and there is a lack of dominant laws and regulations in the legislative level to systematically regulate and manage the environmental labeling system.In this paper,by analyzing China’s environment mark in four types of the typical environment mark,Chinese environment mark,China energy conservation product authentication marks,China environmental product certification mark and green market certification mark,clear environmental sign system which contains specific content,providing theoretical basis for further study.After a detailed review,the contents of China’s environmental labeling system mainly include environmental labeling product certification standard system,certification mechanism,supervision mechanism,relief mechanism and public participation mechanism.Therefore,this paper mainly wants to analyze and demonstrate the defects of the environmental labeling system in all aspects,and draw lessons from the development experience of foreign environmental labeling,to provide structural reference and guidance for China’s development of environmental labeling leading laws and regulations,and further promote the development of China’s environmental labeling.
