The Identity Reconstruction Of Contemporary Chinese Glass Art

Glass has a long history of development in China.Under the influence of changing factors such as material technology,social background and aesthetic cognition,the identity of Chinese glass art is also constantly evolving.The identity of ancient glass art was influenced by the difficulty of acquiring materials and crafts,the background of centralized society and the jade culture.The identity of ancient glass art formed the identity of nobility and scarcity,religious identity and imitation jade identity.After glass art officially entered China in 2000,with the help of science and technology and diversified social background,contemporary glass art has been transformed into popular and practical identity,diversified and multi-functional identity,and traditional cultural identity.However,whether in the past or now,the identity of glass art in China still has different dimensions of limiting factors.In this context,this paper will take the glass art related professional knowledge as the theoretical origin,from the identity of ancient Chinese glass art and the general picture of the identity of contemporary Chinese glass art and its forming factors,in-depth and detailed discussion of the reconstruction of the identity of ancient and contemporary glass art,and combined with the current development status of glass art in China,Some thoughts on the identity reconstruction of contemporary Chinese glass art are put forward.Among them,the identities of contemporary Chinese glass art are redefined as follows:the identity of composite compatibility between traditional technology and art,the identity of inheritance and continuation of cultural connotation,the identity of Oriental artistic conception of Zen and philosophical thinking,the identity of social significance and enlightenment,and the identity of composite compatibility between function and art.Through the research of this paper,the author intends to sort out the evolution of identity of Glass art in China in detail,and give new ideas for the innovation and development of identity of glass art.At the same time,the author also hopes to enrich the research in this direction and provide some references for future researches on this direction.
