Ultrasonic flaw detection system is an important method of nondestructive testing industry. It is widely applied to testing flaws, such as castings, forgings, pipes and pressure vessels. It has played an important role to control the quality of products, saving the cost of production. At present, the domestic production of ultrasonic detector mostly have low sampling rate and low resolution shortcomings,on the other hand, their system integration degree is not so high.On the basis of previous studies, this paper developed a kind of using "ARM+FPGA" for the system architecture of the digital ultrasonic testing system.Front-end acquisition and data processing with FPGA,the back-end and carry ARM Embedded Linux operating system,by using Qt/Embedded to implement human-machine interface, and complete the data communication and transmission between modules and testing waveform real-time display and so on.After the test, this paper research and development of digital ultrasonic detector has high precision, high resolution and its instrument performance indicators meet or exceed national standards. In addition, due to attached embedded Linux operating system, its software function is very convenient to change and improve, and it provides favorable conditions for system maintenance and software version update.
