In the "China manufacturing 2025","strong foundation" takes the high speed and high precision bearings as a key development project.As the basic part of the bearing,the surface quality of steel ball needs to be checked before to be used,so as to ensure that the steel ball has no defects.Therefore,how to achieve the whole surface detection of spherical surface and the serial application of steel ball detection system have become an urgent problem to be solved.Aiming at the above problems,by the way of combining theoretical analysis,numerical simulation and physical experiment,the principle of unfolding the whole surface of steel ball is analyzed systematically,the integral structure of steel ball automatic detection mechanism is constructed,and the parametric design of the detection system is realized.In order to unfold the whole sphere surface,the unfolding principle of spherical spiral line motion is proposed.Firstly,the conical driving body with inclined shaft cone is designed which can make the whole surface unfolding of steel ball possible.Meanwhile the cone model is built.Secondly,the motion parameters of one point on the steel ball in the process of unfolding is analyzed,the contact constraint model between the steel ball and the driving body is established,the motion trajectory model of the contact point on the driving cone is fitted and solved out by iterative method,and the contact trajectory on the steel ball surface is further analyzed,by using arc integral,the contact trajectory curve model is obtained.Finally,basing on the principle of unfolding,the integral structure of steel ball automatic detection mechanism is constructed,and the position relationship model of unfolding mechanism is established,providing theoretical basis for parametric design.In order to realize the serial application of detection system,application of Solid Works parametric modeling method based on VB to realize parametric design of steel ball automatic detection system.Firstly,the template model library of steelball automatic detection system is established,and the library is divided into general parts model library and key parts design library through analyzing the function structure,using Solid Works part design table function realizes parametric design of key components;Calling the model library to complete the establishment of detection system virtual assembly model,and using Solid Works macro function to make the driver program of key parts and assembly model,which prepares for the design of interactive system.In order to verify the unfolding principle and the rationality of steel ball automatic detection parametric system,the parametric system interface is established by VB,and the virtual constraint condition is added to the assembly model of the parametric system by ADAMS,analyzing the movement locus and rule of the mark point on steel ball surface;Building the physical experiment platform,the movement locus of the mark point on steel ball surface is recorded by high-speed camera,and comparing with the simulation results.In this paper,the parametric design system of steel ball automatic detection is established,the whole surface detection of steel ball and the series application of detection system is realized,and having important significance to the application of parametric technology in steel ball detection field.
