With the rapid development of urbanization in China,the urban population keep increasing,the living standard of urban residents is constantly improving,and the pressure on the urban transportation system is increasing.The rapid growth of vehicle ownership and travel demand has gone far beyond the designed capacity of the transport infrastructure in the past.As a result,the urban operation rhythm become slow because of the influence of the traffic,the travel efficiency is low,and traffic accidents occur frequently,which lead to more pollutant discharge.All the bad effects make the need to improve the current situation of traffic congestion,enhance the capacity of road traffic,and improve the efficiency of urban road transportation become more and more urgent.Intelligent Transportation system(ITS),which integrates many advanced technologies,can provides services like real-time traffic data analysis and release,traffic route guidance,traffic flow management and so on.It is an important means to alleviate traffic congestion.Real-time traffic data acquisition,which is the basis of ITS function,is now not limited to road detectors and manual observation any more.With the development of mobile positioning technology,the number of mobile positioning data from personal mobile devices and public vehicles is keeping increasing exponentially every day.The great progress of data storage and processing technology makes the efficient use of these data feasible.The Traffic Information Collection Technology based on floating car has attracted wide attention of the Urban traffic data mining,traffic management and other fields for its many advantages like all-weather,flexible route,low-cost and so on.The traffic parameters which describes the traffic status of the urban road network can be obtained by using the information collected by the floating car during the driving process.And then we can analysis the traffic flow information of the road network by a variety of technical means,which make the traffic flow information of the urban road network can be evaluated,identified and predicted.The traffic flow information of the urban road network provides a reference for the improvement of the urban traffic management level and the traveling efficiency of the urban residents,and the urban planning.Based on the data of taxi GPS location in Shijiazhuang City of Hebei Province in March 2018,this paper takes some road networks in Shijiazhuang as the study area,and uses clustering algorithm to distinguish and analyze the traffic states in different periods in the study area,then discusses the change of traffic state of urban road network with time,which may provides a reference for further traffic congestion prediction,congestion early warning or traffic guidance and other measures.
