Research On Financial Competitiveness Of Shandong Hi-Speed Company Limited

With the continuous improvement of national economic strength,China’s expressway industry is developing rapidly.At present,the scale of China’s expressway network is the largest in the world,and the total mileage ranks the first in the world.Traffic is the main artery of economic development.If the traffic is smooth,the resources will flow.However,the expressway industry has its own particularity,which not only has certain monopoly and public welfare,but also takes into account the efficiency of operation and the sustainability of profit,which is not conducive to the sustainable development of the enterprises.Under the changeable environment of economic situation and industrial policies,expressway enterprises should enhance their competitiveness and the ability to resist risks,so as to calmly cope with external pressure and competition.The foundation and core of enterprise competitiveness is financial competitiveness,expressway enterprises can promote high-quality and efficient development of enterprises by enhancing financial competitiveness.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the financial competitiveness of expressway enterprises.At present,the academic research on the competitiveness of enterprises has made some achievements,and the theory of financial competitiveness has also developed and innovated,but the research on the financial competitiveness of the expressway industry is very scarce,and the research on the financial competitiveness of specific enterprises is even less.At the same time,the financial information used in the study of the financial competitiveness of enterprises is often insufficient and incomplete,and the conclusions drawn from the traditional analysis methods may not be scientific.In view of the above problems,the research on the financial competitiveness of expressway enterprises in this paper mainly includes the following contents:In this paper,Shandong Hi-Speed Company Limited(hereinafter referred to as "SDHS")is selected as the research object.Firstly,the competitive environment of SDHS is analyzed from two aspects:external environment and internal environment,and SWOT analysis is conducted.Secondly,this paper analyzes the components of SDHS financial competitiveness one by one from three aspects:financial strategy,financial resources and financial ability.Then,this paper uses the gray correlation analysis method to analyze the horizontal and vertical financial competitiveness of SDHS,calculate the gray correlation degree and rank.The results show that:the financial competitiveness of SDHS ranks the second in 12 expressway enterprises,but its development ability ranks the fourth,and its profitability ranks the sixth;the financial competitiveness of SDHS from 2014 to 2018 is ranked as:2016>2014>2017>2015>2018.Finally,based on the analysis results,this paper finds out the problems existing in the financial competitiveness of SDHS,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to enhance the financial competitiveness of SDHS.To sum up,this paper studies the financial competitiveness of SDHS,which has practical significance to enhance the financial competitiveness of SDHS,and can also serve as a reference for other expressway enterprises.
