| With the continuously increasing number of cars, cars not only bring convenience to human life, but also cause some traffic problems. Therefore, how to alleviate traffic congestion and improve travel conditions has become one of the research hotspots. As the core technology of Intelligent Transportation System(ITS),Vehicles ad-hoc Networks(VANETs) technology is mainly used for information interaction between Vehicles to Vehicles(V2V) and Vehicles to Infrastructure(V2I).As an important part of VANETs,the routing protocol determines the performance of the network. Therefore,it is an important goal of this subject to design a reliable and efficient routing protocol for VANETs.Ad hoc on-demand Distance Vector(AODV)protocol is a classical reactive routing protocol in VANETs,which seeks the shortest path between the source node and the destination node through its specific routing mechanism.Because of the high speed of vehicle movement in VANETs,the network topology changes frequently, and the previously established route may not be the preferred route. This paper proposes an AODV-TC routing protocol, which adds new flag bits in RREQ and RREP control messages to form new control messages. After the stable route is established, the best link construction route is found by searching the new neighbor node. The AODV-TC routing protocol was designed and implemented on NS-3 network simulation platform, and the simulation test was carried out.Simulation results show that the proposed protocol is superior to the original AODV routing protocol in data transmission success rate and average end-to-end delay. Finally, this paper studies the implementation of AODV routing protocol in Linux embedded environment.Complete the design and verification of wireless Ad hoc network vehicle platform. In the real world,we test its connectivity and routing performance.Experimental results show that the wireless Ad hoc network platform has good performance in round-trip time and packet loss rate. |
