Radar recognition and radar jamming technology have gradually become the key technologies of electronic warfare in modern warfare.As the opposite of radar recognition technology,passive jamming technology uses passive jamming materials to scatter the incident wave of enemy radar to form false target echo,and jamming induces enemy radar to make it unable to identify and track the real target.However,chaff cloud passive jamming technology has been paid more and more attention because of its low cost and good jamming effect.Based on vector transport theory,this paper studies the dynamic real-time RCS,echo Doppler characteristics and interference modes in different scenarios of large-scale diffusion chaff clouds.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.Establish a single chaff scattering model in the local coordinate system and observation coordinate system,calculate the chaff scattering matrix by using the antenna principle,and derive the vector transformation matrix and polarization transformation matrix between the two coordinate systems.The influence of the attitude of the foil,the incident frequency and the angle between the incident direction and the scattering direction on the RCS of a single foil is analyzed.2.According to the random media of chaff cloud,the vector transport equation of chaff cloud is established.According to the Markov property of the series solution of the transport equation,the Monte Carlo simulation flow of chaff cloud scattering transport is established,and the sampling method of key parameters in the transport process is introduced in detail.The RCS of the spherical chaff cloud is calculated.The simulation results of the sparse chaff cloud are compared with the traditional simple superposition method and the literature numerical simulation method.The influence of the incident frequency,the number of chaff and the polarization mode on the RCS of the large number of chaff cloud is analyzed.3.For the diffusion process of the chaff cloud,the influence of the attitude orientation angle and initial velocity of the chaff on the velocity and displacement in the process of fast dispersion and stable diffusion is analyzed.The state of chaff cloud at any time is simulated by Monte Carlo method,and the RCS of cylindrical and ellipsoid diffusion chaff cloud under different incident modes is calculated.4.Combining with the actual scene of chaff cloud interference,the different interference modes of chaff cloud passive interference are introduced and analyzed.The dynamic and real-time RCS of chaff cloud and Doppler characteristics of echo are calculated.Taking the target aircraft as an example,the shielding effect of chaff cloud on the target aircraft under different jamming modes is analyzed.
