| Traditional ship-machine-oar matching follows a step-by-step process of first matching and then checking.In this process,the propeller with appropriate diameter and pitch ratio is first selected by matching the effective horsepower of the ship(the resistance of the ship over there)with the effective thrust horsepower of the propeller(the propeller thrust)under a given host horsepower.Then,based on the speed of the main engine and the corresponding open water curve,it is tested whether the horsepower of the main engine matches the horsepower required by the propeller at the same speed.If the above inspection process can also be passed,it is considered that the designed propeller is matched with the hull and the main engine.Otherwise,the propeller diameter and pitch ratio shall be re-selected and the above process shall be repeated until satisfactory results are obtained.The traditional design process of propeller based on serial graph is mainly carried out according to the above steps.There is also a suite of software based on the above methods,such as ENGINE78.However,studies have shown that the traditional method of matching and checking the propeller can sometimes be too ideal to obtain and may be inefficient in bad sea conditions.Comparing with the traditional propeller design method,this paper introduces a new matching method of hull,main engine and propeller,which divides the matching system of hull,main engine and propeller into two subsystems: hull-propeller matching system and main-propeller matching system.The principle of hull-propeller matching system is the balance between hull resistance and propeller thrust,and the principle of main-propeller matching system is the balance between the power of propeller and the main engine.And the results were compiled into the general flow chart and the sub-flow chart,which laid a theoretical foundation for software development and design ideas.This paper studies the handle image object system in the matlab GUI,and USES the handle image object system and M language in the matlab GUI human-computer interaction interface to write a ship-machine-oar matching selection software.At last,it enumerates the detailed data for example calculation,and compares the design result of the software with the actual manual calculation to check the accuracy of the calculation software.Then,through the examples of multiple propellers and main engines,the matching selection method and practical application method of the software are presented. |
