Exploration Of Landscape Construction Methods Of Slope Parks In The Three Gorges Reservoir Area

The Three Gorges Reservoir Area is an integral part of Yangtze River Economic Zone,as well as an essential area for ecological environment construction in west China.With the fragility of the ecology and urgency of development,the ecological environment construction becomes particularly important.In the cities of the Three Gorges Reservoir area,the complex topography leads to tensions between people and regions and a critical defect of public space,which makes a series of slopes with severe construction conditions and high ecological restoration pressures planned for urban parks.Therefore,it is an urgent issue for the urban public space construction in the reservoir area to identify site characteristics of slope parks nearby and design integrative strategies of ecological restoration and quality improvement.Based on ecological restoration and quality improvement of public space,this paper aims at slope parks in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area and is divided into three parts: background research,problem discovery and problem solutions.Firstly,this paper sorts out and divides the green space in the urban slope parks in the reservoir area according to the site conditions.Then attention is paid to the slope parks field research in Fengjie Country and Wushan Country.Analysis of structural style of construction slopes,site conditions,division of activity space,traffic conditions and vegetation conditions,the results indicate several common problems such as low security,weak ecology,poor accessibility and an insufficient sense of space.To improve current construction situations that security is prioritized with ignorance of ecology and quality of slope parks,I raised design and construction strategies.It is recommended to weaken height difference to ensure site safety,strengthen ecological restoration by optimizing vegetation,enhance the connection to construct efficient transportation and integrate functions to enhance vitality.Finally,taking Yanyu Park in Wushan County,Chongqing City as an example,research has shown several current problems that slopes have weak stability,insufficient site connectivity,and low vegetation coverage.In this context,with the application of ecologically sustainable landscape creation approaches,many methods are proposed such as arranging first level load-bearing walls to ensure site security,strengthening traffic connections through multi-level leisure trails and optimizing plant collocation to repair slope ecology.These planned design approaches are not only practical explorations of perfecting the integrative theory system of urban areas,but also provide theoretical references for the sustainable mountain construction and development of ecological restoration and landscape optimization.
