| Informal employment plays an important role in the process of urbanization in China, but the urban planning academics pay less attention to the basic spatial behavior of informal employment groups, especially the rules of decision-making on the place of employment. The lack of basic cognition has led to a serious negative effect of spatial intervention policies on informal employment groups. The whole article is a survey report on the basic characteristics of informal employment groups’ job-resident relationship, the factors that affect the job-resident relationship and the mechanism.According to this, two main research questions are raised: first, what are the differentiating characteristics of the formal and informal employment groups,as well as the informal employment groups in different communities,in terms of job-resident relationship,job-housing preferences, and mobility? Second, what are the mechanisms by which socio-economic attributes, spatial factors, and institutional factors affect the employment relationship of infor ma l employment groups? Is there an obvious moderating effect on employment informa lit y and community type? The 1st part of this article includes three chapters: introduction, theoretical basis and research framework, and research and data acquisition. The first chapter proposes to review the two main literatures of informal employment space research and professiona l housing research, demonstrates the theoretical value and practical feasibility of the topic selection, and puts forward related research ideas.Chapter 2 presents the basic research framework: first, informal employment is defined as two instantiable concepts of “binary informality” and “subdivided informality”;theoretical deductions for infor ma l employment groups in housing,The potential location of the employment location and the evolution of the job-resident relationship.Secondly,it summarizes and reviews the main mechanisms and element systems that affect the relationship between job and housing, and puts forward an empirical research framework.Chapter 3 mainly describes the survey and data acquisition process, and explains the scope and overview of the selection of survey samples. It elaborates the method of estimating informal employme nt positions, and explains the calculation formulas and related measurement models and inspection methods of the employment accessibility index and several other important indexes. The 2 part of this article includes Chapter 4 and Chapter 5.Using descriptive and exploratory analysis,we first describe the differentiated characteristics of formalinformal employment and informal employment in different communities, includ ing occupational-dwelling relationship,occupational-dwelling preference and liquid it y,indicating the short-term employment preference of informal employment It has the characteristics of broadness, instability and preference for employment conditio ns.Secondly,it explores the differentiated mathematical and spatial characteristics of the employment-resident relationship under different influencing factors under differe nt binary informality and community type conditions. It shows the basic relations hip between personal and family characteristics, job space characteristics and subdivided informality and the employment-resident relationship of employees. The 3rd part of this article includes Chapter 6 and Chapter 7.Empirical analysis is used to explore the spatial factors and mechanisms that affect the job-housing relations hip of informal employees,as well as the mediate effects of dual informality and subdivided informality. The results show that there is a negative effect between informality of employment and commuting characteristics;due to the differences in the decision-mak ing mechanisms for housing and employment needs and job supply between formal and informal employees and informal employees in different communities, the impact of related factors The path is different. The 4th part of this article includes research conclusions and prospects.Summar ized the main conclusions and research deficiencies of this article. At the same time,it is proposed to further expand the breadth of big data mining and the depth of case investigation.. |
