With the acceleration of urbanization in China,the development of construction industry is also facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges.With the increase of market size as high as 8.98% annual growth rate,the architectural design industry will continue to develop with the stable growth of the construction industry,and maintain a good overall development trend.China’s architectural design enterprises have the characteristics of large number and relatively dispersed industry concentration.The competition pattern is dominated by a few large state-owned design enterprises,supplemented by a large number of small and medium-sized private design enterprises.The ZT Architecture Design Institute of Wuhan,founded in 2002,is one of the first private enterprises in Hubei Province to be qualified for Class A design.After many years of development,some achievements have been made.However,the company lacks strategic development planning,analysis of its own strengths and weaknesses,and analysis of the external environment.The company needs to apply the relevant theory of strategic management to formulate the development strategy of the enterprise to improve its core competitiveness,so as to be in an invincible position in the market.Taking Wuhan ZT Architectural Design Company as the research object,this article combines the background and the trend of architectural design industry and systematically analyze the company’s current situation from the perspective of the organizational structure,business structure,human resources by using "Porter’s five forces" and "PEST" analyzing model so as to find out the company’s strength and weakness and highlight the superiority of medical buildings design ability to grasp the development opportunities of medical facilities constructions needs.At the same time,in order to ensure the implementation of the strategy,three dimensions of strategical measures should be implemented:First of all,management guarantee measures should be established from theaspects of organizational structure,project management system,mechanism guarantee,quality assurance system,and knowledge management platform;secondly,brand building strategies need to be constructed in terms of marketing,customer maintenance and management,and design concept innovation;finally,talent guarantee measures must be put forward according to construction of innovative team,core talent training,and reserve talent training.
