As the speed of rolling bearings increases,the high-speed air flow between the bearing rings has an important influence on the lubrication of the oil in the bearing cavity.During the high-speed operation of the bearing,the lubricating oil is atomized under the action of high-speed rotating airflow and centrifugal force.The atomization of lubricating oil in the bearing cavity will affect the lubricating effect of the bearing,as well as the bearing cooling.Therefore,this subject has carried out research on the changing law of droplets and the atomization mechanism of the lubricant incident between high-speed rolling bearing rings.The object of this research was high-speed angular contact ball bearings.On the basis of the grooves on the inner wall of the bearing outer ring,through the layered treatment of the complex boundary conditions of the bearing rolling body,the gas and liquid in the high-speed bearing cavity two-phase flow was analyzed by numerical simulation.Using the fluid dynamics model,the movement process and particle size distribution characteristics of the oil in the bearing cavity were analyzed.The oil particle size distribution characteristics and particle size change rules under different conditions of oil in the cavity were studied,the atomization in the bearing cavity was obtained,and the oil particle size distribution and atomization law in the cavity were studied and analyzed.The research results show that comparing with different injection angles,when the nozzle angle is 15°,the large-diameter oil in the cavity accounts for a large amount;through different injection pressures and speeds,the speed is 2.0×105r/min,the distribution of large-size oil in the bearing cavity is not concentrated,and under the condition of large injection pressure,the large-diameter oil in the bearing cavity occupies a relatively large amount;Though the complex boundary conditions of the rolling element are stratified,it will still be affected by the air vortex in the cavity,the distribution characteristics of the oil particle size in the cavity are more obvious,more accurately see the change of the air flow in the bearing cavity,the distribution of oil atomization,which provides a basis for the lubrication research of rolling bearings.Finally,the correctness of some numerical calculation results is verified through experiments.This paper systematically studies the distribution characteristics of oil particle size and oil atomization in the high-speed bearing cavity,which provides a certain theoretical basis for controlling the oil atomization between bearing rings.
