| With the rapid development of science and technology,products in life are becoming more and more informatized,intelligent,and entertaining,and smart appliances have developed rapidly and continue to spread.However,while some smart appliances continue to increase in technology,the user’s demand for product experience has not been fully considered.These smart appliances still stay at the level of technology integration and function superposition,with complex functions and monotonous interaction methods,which put forward higher requirements for users and lack good product experience.Based on the current status of the interaction of smart appliances at home and abroad and the relationship between multi-modal interaction and product experience,this paper summarizes the domestic and foreign research status of multi-modal interactive methods / systems,multi-modal interaction design / application,and smart appliances / design through literature research methods.Then the possibility of continuing in-depth on the basis of existing research and the direction in which the subject research should be in-depth are clear.Furthermore,the multi-modal interaction theory is studied,and the classification,technology and advantages of multi-modal interactive fusion are analyzed from the six dimensions of "eye,ear,nose,tongue,body,and meaning".Then the multi-modal interaction design model is built,and based on the basic theory of the five elements of the human-computer interaction system,the "product-people-activities-contexts-technologies" human-computer interaction system model of smart appliances is constructed.For further study,this paper defines the target users and user problems,defines the design scope of smart appliances in the physical and mental health smart appliances products of working youths aged 18-35,and clarifies the specific problem starting points of the target users and products design direction(focus,sleep,mood,etc.).Based on the multi-modal interaction theory,product design strategies and design principles are proposed,and product design planning is made(concentration timer / induction bracelet,sleep aid / wake-up apparatus,the sleep monitoring belt,interactive smart mirror,interactive smart yoga mat).Finally,specific smart appliance product design examples are used to verify the feasibility of the method,responding to the problem of smart appliance interaction originally proposed by the paper.In the design process of smart appliances,the theory,mechanism,and technology of multi-modal interaction are used to design smart appliances,which enriches the human-computer interaction of smart appliances and helps to improve the efficiency,ease of use and fun when using.The usefulness and interestingness provide a new idea for the design of smart appliances,and expand the research perspective of the design and development of smart appliances. |
