As a new method of selling, vending machine is gradually becoming a huge market in China with the changes of pay method, its future is rather optimistic. However, there're big problems in the human-machine interaction of the vending machines nowadays. Users are hard or ever not able to manipulate them smoothly. Even though, many of the researches on vending machine only focus on the inner structure, there's no research on the human-machine interaction of vending machine.The topic of this research came from a real design project of industrial design major, and the research mainly focuses on the human-machine interaction of vending machine. Firstly, the research uses methods of scene reappearance, usability test, user depth interview, user experience map to do user experience research of the human-machine interaction, so that deeply dug the demand of users, and comes out of many design points. Among these methods, scene reappear and user experience map are newly proposed. Scene reappear can help reappear the real buying scenes, and designers can design the scene and way that users are familiar to. User experience map can help designers find the steps that experience badly, so that designers will focus on these steps and then make a better experience.Based on the outcome of user experience research, user interface design process goes on. The whole user interface design process uses the five steps of user experience elements, and forms the final interface scheme.At last, through the contrast of statistic data user experience map of before and after design, the improvement of user experience is proved, and the user experience of vending machine user-machine interface is optimized.
