Research On Regeneration Plan Of Suining Jinhua Textile Mill From The Perspective Of Authenticity Amidst Change

With the rapid development of the economy and society as well as the urbanization process,urban industrial heritage,as a specialized type of cultural heritage,has been hit by urban development and economic interests.Urban industrial heritage is still facing problems of protection and utilization,although the international and the national documents have emphasized the importance of it.The value of the heritage has not yet been widely resonated with society,and the regeneration plan shows the trend of historical and cultural protection giving way to economic interests.Under the context of the times,the concept of authenticity has gradually begun to shift,emphasizing on both protection and development.So this article attempts to build the value view of science,holism and regionalism for regeneration plan,summarizing the authentic information source of industrial heritage into space environment,historical culture and social life,and it proposes the regeneration plan process consisting of the situation investigation,value recognition,strategy formulation,implementation management and inspection adjustment.Through the applied research on the regeneration plan of Suining Jinhua Textile Mill,this article puts forward three conclusions from three aspects of value standpoint,planning-making and multi-subject.Firstly,the regeneration of industrial heritage shows the trend of diversified value orientation.The perspective of authenticity amidst change reveals its social construction process of continuous,dynamic,and mixed,and both the requirements of heritage protection and the future development of the city need to be coordinated in the regeneration plan.Secondly,facing the complex realities of industrial heritage regeneration and different demands of the subjects’ interests,higher requirements of knowledge system and working ability are placed on planners.The planning-making urgently needs more comprehensive,coordinated,and technical ways to achieve innovative design for not only protectin historical sites,but also enhancing the value of the city’s future.Finally,the changing perspective brings flexibility in the planning and decision-making within regeneration,making the plan result as a multi-choice,dynamic process instead of the only answer.The interest game process of multi-subject is testing the game ability among all,and it also puts forward higher requirements on the governance level of governments.Specifically,the main content of this article can be divided into the following five parts.The first part(Chapters 1 and 2)is a review of the research background and related literature.It sorts out the background of this research,defining the research object and the concepts involved through literature research,and summarizes the status of the relevant research.Then it elaborates on the purpose and significance of this research and builds the research framework of the article.By reviewing the research on authenticity and industrial heritage,this article comparatively analyzing the authenticity understanding in the field of heritage protection and tourism research,summarizing the theoretical methods of industrial heritage value cognition and regeneration plan,and it builds the value system and process method for regeneration plan of industrial heritage with the perspective of authenticity amidst change.The second part(Chapter 3)is a basic research on the current situation of Suining Jinhua Textile Mill.It reviews the urban development background of Suining and the historical process of Jinhua Mill,summarizing the characteristic of the plant area and community,and it also discusses the current practical difficulties faced by the regeneration of Jinhua Mill.The third part(Chapter 4)is the value cognition analysis of Jinhua Mill with the concept of "Asset-Based".Traditional value cognition methods are not adaptable for Jinhua Mill in terms of its level,purpose,and depth.Therefore,it introduces the value cognition method with the “Asset-Based” concept to build index systems and standards of assets.It draws the assets map of Jinhua Mill to understand the potential value of assets,and it analyzes the value cognition from three aspects of material assets,cultural assets and social assets.The fourth part(Chapter 5)is the formulation of targets and strategies for the regeneration plan.Combined with the situation of Suining Jinhua Textile Mill,it put forwards the guiding ideology,basic principles,protection targets and regeneration goals.Using the authentic information source,it introduces the improvement strategy system of space environment,historical culture,and social life.The fifth part(Chapter 6 and Chapter 7)is the analysis and reflection of the game balance in the regeneration planning process of Suining Jinhua Textile Mill.It analyzes the characteristics of different subjects involved in the regeneration process,summarizing the performance and action methods of the three major groups of local government,commercial interest groups and residents.Then it discusses the situation of interest games from the pattern,relationship,and focus.Combined with the planning changes,it tries to explain the complex problems and difficulties in the regeneration process.And it puts forwards the main conclusions,innovations,shortcomings,and prospects of this article.
