Research On The Design Strategy Of Wa Rural House Based On The Organic Renewal Theory

Wa nationality is an ethnic minority with a long history in China,mainly living in the southwest of Yunnan province.In the long process of historical development,Wa nationality dwellings have accumulated rich cultural connotations and formed distinct regional characteristics.With the development of our country’s social economy,Wa people’s way of production and life is also undergoing great changes.Wa nationality is an ethnic minority with a long history in China,mainly living in the southwest of Yunnan province.In the long process of historical development,Wa nationality dwellings have accumulated rich cultural connotations and formed distinct regional characteristics.With the development of our country’s social economy,Wa people’s way of production and life is also undergoing great changes.In recent years,the newly built houses in Wa villages mainly have two ways: local unified construction and residents’ self-construction.In the process of construction,the problems such as insufficient combination of newly built buildings with the original natural environment of the villages,poor function of the buildings,and insufficient characteristics of the Wa people’s architectural modeling have been exposed.How to make the Wa nationality dwellings not only inherit the Wa traditional regional characteristics and culture,but also meet the needs of the villagers’ production and living is an urgent problem to be solved.Based on the organic renewal theory and on the basis of field research and analysis,this paper proposes a modern rural house renewal strategy that conforms to the current era background and Wa regional characteristics,hoping to have a positive impact on the organic renewal of Wa villages and play a certain role of technical guidance for the construction of Wa folk houses.In recent years,the newly built houses in wa villages mainly have two ways: local unified construction and residents’ self-construction.In the process of construction,the problems such as insufficient combination of newly built buildings with the original natural environment of the villages,poor function of the buildings,and insufficient characteristics of the Wa people’s architectural modeling have been exposed.How to make the Wa nationality dwellings not only inherit the Wa traditional regional characteristics and culture,but also meet the needs of the villagers’ production and living is an urgent problem to be solved.Based on the organic renewal theory and on the basis of field research and analysis,this paper proposes a modern rural house renewal strategy that conforms to the current era background and Wa regional characteristics,hoping to have a positive impact on the organic renewal of Wa villages and play a certain role of technical guidance for the construction of Wa folk houses.In the first chapter,the background,purpose,main contents and research status of Wa modern rural house design strategy are deeply analyzed,and the overall research framework is put forward.The second chapter firstly analyzes the causes of regional culture of Wa nationality from the perspectives of geographic space,regional culture and ethnology,and analyzes the social,cultural and natural characteristics transmitted behind the traditional spatial form of Wa nationality.Then,the paper studies the traditional village form and the performance factors of single buildings,and summarizes the characteristic factors of Wa traditional farm house.The third chapter of this paper expounds the survey of the status of several different types of Wa rural houses,and through the form of questionnaire and interview to listen to the feedback of the villagers of rural houses and the current needs of rural houses,summed up the characteristics and shortcomings of Wa rural housing.The fourth chapter analyzes the trend of Wa rural houses renewal,studies the influencing factors behind it,and puts forward the focus of rural houses renewal.Thesis chapter 5,in order to put forward effective can be born Wa modern rural house design strategy,combined with the modern environment and conditions,constructing the modern Wa village general layout and space design principles,and from the farmhouse,function,structure,material,colour,decoration,details,etc,is proposed with characteristic of Wa modern rural house design strategy;In the sixth chapter,the author expounds the practice of rural house renewal in a village of Cangyuan Wa autonomous county,verifies the feasibility of the strategy from the aspects of overall planning,architectural details and landscape design,and further improves the design strategy of modern rural house of Wa nationality.In the end,the paper summarizes the design strategy of Wa rural housing,and looks forward to further research in the future.It is hoped that the research work of this paper will play a positive role in the construction and renewal of Wa rural housing.
