Rock foundation has the characteristics of large rigidity,small deformation and high bearing capacity.There are many mountains in Southwest China,and the rock foundation is widely distributed in the construction land,while the independent foundation under the column is easy to construct,short in construction period and low in cost,which has good adaptability with the rock foundation.A lot of research and practical engineering experience show that the mechanical characteristics of the independent foundation on the rock foundation are more complex than that on the soil foundation.To study the mechanical properties of independent foundations in rock foundations,it is generally considered to place the foundation on the rock foundation,and less consideration is given to the influence of the lateral rock mass on the foundation restraint effect when the foundation is buried in the rock.The rock foundation has the characteristics of small shrinkage deformation.When there is a strong constraint around the independent foundation in the rock foundation,the lateral deformation of the foundation is greatly affected by the surrounding rock body,and the forced characteristics and ultimate bearing capacity of the independent foundation will be affected.In this paper,the research on the influence of the buried depth on the mechanical characteristics of the independent foundation under the column in the rock foundation is taken as the subject.Based on theoretical analysis and numerical simulation analysis,combined with the field test data,the influence law of the buried depth on the mechanical characteristics of the independent foundation under the column in the rock foundation is revealed.The main research contents are as follows:(1)In this paper,the research progress of independent foundation’s mechanical characteristics,distribution law of basement reaction,failure mode and design method at home and abroad are summarized.(2)This paper analyzes the forced characteristics of the independent foundation on the soil and rock foundation,and the distribution characteristics of the base reaction force of the independent foundation on the rock foundation and the checking formula of the shear bearing capacity of the foundation are put forward.(3)By using the finite element numerical method,the axial load of the independent foundation in different buried depth in the rock foundation is simulated and analyzed.The distribution forms of the basement reaction force,the side stress of the foundation,the first principal stress,the third principal stress and the shear stress in the foundation are obtained.(4)Compared with the test data of the large-scale field test of the team,the theoretical and numerical conclusions are verified,and the influence law of the buried depth factor on the mechanical effect of the independent foundation in the rock foundation is proposed.In this paper,through the comprehensive research method of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation combined with test data,the mechanical characteristics of the independent foundation under the column in the rock foundation considering the buried depth are discussed,which has certain reference and reference significance for the actual engineering practice.
