Research On "Co-living House" And Its Space Design Strategy In China

In recent years,with the rise of the “sharing economy” and the popularization of the sharing concept,the“Co-Living House”based on the Co-Living mode has developed rapidly.Although the phenomenon of housing sharing has a long history,as a response to the sharing era,“Co-Living House” essence is to make information equal through the way of network and sharing,so as to achieve the purpose of liberating idle housing resources and making full use of them.At the same time,“Co-Living House”is also a kind of adjustment and response to the existing problems in the existing housing market,the improvement of living demand,the change of living style,the application of new technology,the change of social environment and other factors.It has great potential in reducing the vacancy rate of housing,improving the living experience and quality,and building new interpersonal relationships.Due to the short time of “Co-Living House”in China,the domestic research mainly focuses on policy,operation mode,management and other aspects.In the field of architecture,there are also studies and models of foreign related cases.However,the research in the field of space design is relatively small.At the same time,considering that most of the existing“Co-Living House”in our country is based on the transformation of space foundation of conventional housing.Therefore,this study will focus on the difference between “Co-Living House”and conventional housing,and combine with the characteristics and needs of users to explore the corresponding space design strategy of “Co-Living House” based on the development and transformation of conventional housing.First of all,the author makes a systematic analysis of the “Co-Living House”,and summarizes the causes,nature and advantages of the “Co-Living House”,the composition of the crowd,the mode of sharing,“Co-Living House” classification and related case studies.Then,combined with research and related research,this paper discusses the prospect of“Co-Living House” based on the development and three types of “Co-Living House”,which are transform from conventional housing including “multiple people share the same house”,“family youth hostel”,“online short rent house”.Besides author analyzes the demand and existing problems of“Co-Living House” in China.Moreover,according to the above researchon“Co-Living House” and China’s demand and current situation,the author puts forward targeted space design strategies from three aspects of space layout,space use and space form.Based on the proposed space design strategy,two models of sharing “idle time”and “idle space”are designed as examples.Finally,the paper puts forward some discussion and prospect for the design of“Co-Living House”in the future.This paper hopes to provide some basis and reference for architects in the future design process of “shared residence”.
