| In recent years,more and more people have chosen self-driving motorhomes as a way of travel.Retired people are beginning to enjoy life.Travellers are already on the road.Even more young people decide to quit their jobs to travel around the world.This has led to a massive increase in the demand for travel vehicles.At present,the motorhomes on the market divided into two categories:self-propelled and trailer-mounted.Among them,the self-propelled C-type motorhomes are the most popular models because of their small and flexible body and full-featured features.At the same time,the appearance of caravans can reflect people’s style preferences most intuitively,which is an essential factor affecting people’s purchasing decisions.This paper uses the method of empathy design combined with the design principles of perceptual engineering to research and explore the styling design of self-propelled C-type travel vehicle.This article focuses on target users,observes and interviews five target users based on empathetic design and small sample surveys,collects information,and analyzes the needs of target users through roleplaying methods to obtain the target positioning of target users and obtain target users.Expect the functional requirements of habitability,cooking outside the residence car,convenient viewing,automatic driving,hybrid power and the style preference of “hard,warm,modern,concise”,and then conduct semantic experiments in the perceptual engineering of the target user,Transform the emotional vocabulary obtained by empathy design into a visual design style.Through the above method,the user’s demand positioning is applied to the design practice,so that the user can add more pleasure when driving and using the car.This article mainly researches three aspects:(1)Theoretical analysis: Introduces the basic theory of empathy design and the difference with the general design method,analyzes the application method and case design of empathy design in product design;elaborate the perceptual engineering theory,analyzes its advantages and qualitative and quantitative Instructions.Both approaches are helpful to tap the user’s inner emotional needs to design the shape of the car.(2)Market analysis: An analysis of the market for travel vehicles made to understand the classification and future development trends of travel vehicles.The internal and external partitions of the existing caravan structure.Extract elements and provide templates for the subsequent design.(3)Design practice: In combination with empathy design,use observation,interviews,and role-playing methods to summarize the design positioning derived from empathy design;combined with the perceptual engineering theory,establish a travel vehicle form library to allow survey users to extract Among the design elements,select the semantic form that meets your desired style,apply it to the appearance of the product,rationally express the user ’s emotional needs,use the experimental results to the shape of the car,design the research elements,and let the car design element module The overall fit with the user’s needs,so as to get a car exterior design that meets the user’s emotional needs.Based on the above analysis and research,this paper uses the theoretical methods in empathy design and perceptual engineering to design the selfpropelled C-type tourist car model.It rationally evaluates the plan,confirming the empathy design and perceptual engineering theory in the field of car modeling The feasibility of the application provides reference suggestions for the design of the self-propelled C-type caravan. |
