After the economic globalization,technology and wealth in the world are also developing rapidly and increasing.More and more users are no longer satisfied with mass-produced products.Users begin to pay attention to products with emotional characteristics.This difference also enriches the social attributes of products in various fields.Technology is no longer the only core competitive factor of products.Reflective features in emotional products can create higher economic value and have stronger symbolic significance.At present,China's population growth rate is slowing down,the market of mother and child products tends to be stable,the number of second-born families is increasing,and the requirements of the first-born families for quality of life and product connotation are rising.However,domestic research on baby basket products started late,with fewer products and poor brand effect,it is unable to cope with the huge consumer market of mother and child products.Empathy design,as a design tool,is suitable for product development stage.It can help designers to observe users from the user's perspective,understand users,and use empathy tools to penetrate the users' subconscious needs at the user reflection level which are difficult to obtain.Firstly,this paper describes the background,purpose,research status at home and abroad and the research route block diagram,which will clearly show the context of the full text.Then,from the perspective of empathy,it draws out the differences between empathy application and traditional design.Empathy design is suitable for the early stage of product design,and has a clear guiding role in the direction of product design.It is suitable for design teams of different sizes,preliminary evaluation of technology that has not yet existed,and design for people who are not familiar with themselves or small groups of people.It is very suitable for the design of baby basket products.Three kinds of tools of empathy design make designers better understand users.The next chapter analyses the physiological and psychological analysis of mother-infant group and the interaction between mother and infant.The difference of mother-infant family rearing mode makes users pay more attention to the safety of products.Secondly,the leap in the quality of consumer goods makes them pay more attention to the design of product reflection level.The article analyses empathy design.Using the design emphasis in the research of baby basket design,this paper puts forward the design analysis and design principles of baby basket,and understands the human-machine size requirements of baby basket.Based on the above theoretical research,the design practice is carried out.Firstly,empathy recruitment is carried out.Empathy research is carried out on three groups of voluntary mother-child families that meet the requirements.According to the data results,the pain points of baby basket are analyzed,and the data are presented in a visual chart.In the design scheme,from product positioning to product color analysis,pattern analysis,function analysis,material analysis and other aspects of design and presentation,complete the final practice of baby basket product design.
