Research On Adaptation Protection And Renewal Strategies Of Traditional Features Of Jiuli Ancient Village In Danyang

Jiangsu Province is located in the eastern part of China,and 33 national traditional villages are located in this province.The ancient village as a living place carries the village’s traditional memory,folk culture and regional characteristics.This study takes the ancient village of Jiuli as an example.From the perspective of the traditional village style,it is found that the internal architecture of the ancient village is chaotic and disorderly,the height of the building is extremely uncoordinated,and there are many residential buildings that are dilapidated and unusable because they are uninhabited.Based on the above problems,this article starts research from the following three aspects:The first part is an analysis of the traditional style elements and objective problems of the ancient village of Jiuli.It mainly includes: an environmental element,mainly covering the natural,humanistic and social perspectives,and interpreting the development status of the ancient village of Jiuli in the current environment;two spatial elements,focusing on the influence of Jizi culture on the development,transformation,morphology and overall pattern of the ancient village of Jiuli,revealing the position of Jizi culture in the protection of the traditional style of the village;three existing problems,mainly from the seven aspects of the characteristics and style,material elements,space environment,space vitality,service facilities,protection awareness and funding support,present the current problems of Jiuli Ancient Village.The second part is the strategy of adaptive protection and renewal of the traditional style and features of the ancient village of Jiuli.It mainly includes: a public space,which is divided into street patterns,space nodes and boundary areas,and discusses the protection strategies suitable for public spaces from the perspectives of scale control,ground pavement,waterfront,and skyline;The layout,facade shape,and functional value are the starting points.The concept of adaptability is introduced.The method of integrating museum-style protection with tourism development-type protection is combined with the characteristics of the ancient village’s own resources.A protection strategy suitable for residential houses and public buildings is proposed.As for humanistic consciousness,local skills such as bamboo stick craftsmanship and Xiju art of Jiuli Village were selected for inheritance,continued local cultures such as Jizi,Ancient Wu,and religion,and finally concluded a protection and update strategy adapted to humanistic consciousness.The third part is the design practice part of this study.On the basis of the above research,combined with the idea of adaptive protection and updating,the status quo analysis and design survey of the selected Jiuli ancient villages were carried out,followed by IDEO design method,Likert scale method for element extraction,element transformation,element Application;Finally,according to the protection and updating strategy of Chapter 3,the traditional style of ancient villages will be developed from the plane layout,road system,public space,architectural style and identification system to protect and update the design practice.
