Application Research Of Data Governance In Xinjiang Transportation Industry

Transportation is a basic,leading,and strategic industry in the national economy and an important service industry.Building a strong transportation country is an objective requirement for promoting the implementation of the country’s major strategies and supporting the building of a well-off society in an all-round way.The development of modern transportation is inseparable from the support and guarantee of informatization.The level of informatization is an important indicator to measure the level of modernization of transportation.With the development of informatization in Xinjiang’s transportation industry,the number and scale of business application systems continue to expand,and data has become the most strategic asset in the development of Xinjiang’s transportation business.The data provides strong support for all aspects of traffic management,transportation,public travel,and the entire process of traffic construction management.The use of data to create value and realize decision-making analysis plays an important role in improving business efficiency and improving management and service levels.However,due to the lack of top-level data planning and inconsistent data standards,problems such as data irregularity,inconsistency,redundancy,and inability to share data appear,which greatly reduces the availability of data.At the same time,the data scattered in different systems also leads to the complexity of data resource utilization and the high difficulty of management.Data problems have become a key factor hindering the development of informatization in Xinjiang’s transportation industry.This paper sorts out and analyzes the status quo of data governance in Xinjiang’s transportation industry,starting with data standards,researching basic data element classification methods,and establishing a three-tier data element structure to eliminate the duplication and redundancy problems in basic data elements.Design and implement a data management platform,which implements data element management,meta model management,data quality management and data exchange functions.Through the data management platform,data standardization,data standardization,and data quality controllable have been realized,providing reliable data support for Xinjiang’s transportation informatization construction,and laying a solid foundation for Xinjiang’s transportation data governance.
