Analysis And Countermeasures Of Flood Damage To Rural Roads In Yunnan Province

Yunnan Province is located in southwestern China and borders on Southeast Asian countries such as Myanmar,Vietnam,and Laos.The landform types are mainly plateau mountains and hills.The relatively gentle mountainous areas only account for 10% of the total area.The range has a gentle plateau.Rural roads in Yunnan Province are constrained by various conditions such as construction costs,topography,hydrology and meteorology,and their routes are mostly arranged around mountains,hills,and rivers.Therefore,rural roads in Yunnan are mostly steep and steep,semi-filled and semi-digged roadbeds 2.The level is low,the ability to resist flood damage is poor,and flood damage often occurs due to the large amount of rainfall.The poor resistance to flooding of rural roads in Yunnan hinders the development and transportation of vast rural areas in Yunnan.The flooding of rural roads will cause local residents inconvenience in travel,obstructed transportation and other impacts,and will also cause huge obstacles to the development of local township economies;To ensure the smoothness of rural roads in the mountainous areas of Yunnan,and to study their measures against flood damage,it has become a top priority for the development of transportation in Yunnan.This paper conducts a field investigation on the flood damage of rural roads in Yunnan Province and statistically classifies the data on flood damage of rural roads in Yunnan Province in recent years.According to the characteristics,mechanism and damage structure of flood damage on rural roads in Yunnan Province,the rural roads in Yunnan Province Water damage is classified into eight categories: roadbed water damage,slope water damage and instability,debris flow disasters,road surface water damage,retaining wall water damage,drainage facility water damage,bridge engineering water damage,and protection engineering water damage.Based on the more typical and severe cases of rural road flooding in Yunnan Province,combined with the unique geological features,climate,and hydrological conditions of Yunnan Province and the commonly used building structures and materials of rural roads in Yunnan Province,eight rural roads in Yunnan Province were analyzed.The main factors of flood damage and the mechanism of flood damage.Using the achievements of the Rural Highway Flood Damage Research in the existing literature,collect and sort out the prevention and treatment measures of similar types of flood disasters in other provinces of China,such as the experience of flood resistance in Shaanxi,Zhejiang,Tibet and other provinces,and compare it with the rural areas of Yunnan Province.Combining the actual situation of highways,the countermeasures applicable to the flood damage of rural roads in Yunnan Province are proposed,in order to promote the development of rural roads in Yunnan Province,enhance the protection capacity and reduce the losses caused by the floods of rural roads to the economic and social of Yunnan Province.
