| Because the existence of light can make people feel the whole visual world,the language of light has always been valued by architectural designers.Designers generally use light language to all kinds of architectural spaces,but the purpose is not the same: light language can not only express functions,but also create decoration,but also convey emotions.Through the ages,many architects have made imaginative explorations and left outstanding and eternal works.Among them,Paul Andreu’s use of light language in his architectural space has typical cultural compatibility,which makes the illusory light and the actual architectural space reflect each other,the virtual and the real,reflecting the spirit of the times from the level of human living culture.The core issue of this paper is to discuss the origin and development of the concept and method of light language design in Andreu’s architectural space,as well as its function,status and practical influence.Around this issue,along with the context of human use of light language in history,Andreu’s design plans for light language in different architectural spaces will be analyzed in depth,and the different cultural causes of these plans will be discussed.The value and significance of light language will be presented in a gradually clear cultural background.In the research,it is found that Andreu’s use of light language in architectural space design not only fully respects the heritage of history,absorbs the wisdom of predecessors,but also objectively and calmly observes the reality,and integrates his own deep cultural insights.For example,Andreu clearly realized that the language of light exists in a form of "emptiness" corresponding to the reality of building materials.Therefore,in the architectural space,it is an important attempt to break through the four-dimensional architectural space to explore the different experiences brought by the virtual and real changes.Because of Andreu’s understanding of light language,inspired by different cultures,integrating history and reality as one,he is particularly good at controlling light language.In the architectural space of different styles,he is fascinated and has no trace.In addition,his works also spread all over the world.In different cultural backgrounds and contexts,they play their functions and deep meanings,and affect the aesthetic concept and value orientation of the contemporary audience.This makes the research of this topic have both theoretical and practical significance.Based on the above research purposes and main tasks,this paper,by combing specific cases and relevant literature,puts Andreu’s design concepts and methods into the historical and cultural context of human use of light language to investigate the relationship between light and architectural entity space,the relationship between virtual and real architectural language,the attribute transformation of light language and the cultural connotation of light and shadow in architecture,It is discussed in depth.This paper will be divided into four parts: first of all,it specifically discusses the influence of four design predecessors on the formation of Andreu’s concept of light language design,describes the differences in the concept of light language in three periods of Andreu’s design career and its gradual transformation process of the concept of light language design;second,it expounds the "dynamic and light space","light woven space" and "transparent space" The establishment of three kinds of light language design methods;thirdly,from the two aspects of "divinity" and "poetic",through the case analysis of Andreu’s architectural works,the paper analyzes the different cultural connotation and performance of light language in different cultural context;finally,it summarizes the integration of Andreu’s light language design scheme and architectural space,as well as the Enlightenment of its design concept and method to future generations. |
