Virtual reality technology has unique advantages in the field of vocational education.With its immersive,interactive,conformational,and multi-perceptual characteristics,it provides multiple possibilities for traditional classroom teaching,which can effectively stimulate students’ interest in learning and promoting the improvement of classroom teaching efficiency.This article analyzes and summarizes the research status of virtual reality technology in education and teaching by referring to domestic and foreign literatures,summarizes the main forms of classroom teaching of "mechanical drawing",and understands the "mechanics" of vocational schools through textbook analysis,questionnaire surveys,and teacher interviews The current status of classroom teaching in "Drawing",discover the main problems of classroom teaching of Mechanical Drawing.Aiming at the actual situation of classroom teaching,combined with constructivism theory,multiple intelligence theory and intuitive teaching theory,the classroom teaching design based on virtual reality technology is used.Based on the teaching progress and teaching practice,the classroom teaching design of "drawing of three views of combination" is selected to develop virtual reality teaching cases,Photoshop and solid works,Unity3 D and other software,using virtual reality mobile phone glasses as teaching tools,completed the development of virtual reality technology teaching resources.Based on the classroom teaching design and teaching resources of the above combination,the teaching practice of "drawing of three views of combination" based on virtual reality technology is implemented.And evaluate the classroom teaching effect based on virtual reality technology from the three aspects of classroom learning atmosphere,difference in grades between two classes and questionnaire of teaching effect.The results of the study indicate that this study uses virtual reality technology to design the teaching resource of "combination of three views",which can significantly improve students’ classroom learning attitude,improve students’ basic knowledge and skills of mechanical drawing,and cultivate students’ spatial imagination.The study found that the development of virtual reality teaching content and hardware equipment have important value,and hope that the research in this article will provide a reference for future virtual reality technology in the mechanical drawing classroom teaching practice.
