| "Mechanical Drawing" is a technical basic course of mechanical majors in secondary vocational schools,playing a role in professional construction.For a long time,the course teaching of Mechanical Drawing has been influenced by the subject teaching system,which leads to the disconnection between theory and practice,students ’not solid theoretical foundation and not proficient in professional skills,which affects students’ future study and work.Therefore,the teaching of the "Mechanical Drawing" course must be reformed.The STEAM education philosophy emphasizes interdisciplinary knowledge,diversified scenarios,based on real problems,criticism and construction,collaboration and innovation,which reflects the comprehensive,practical and active nature of the curriculum,and also reflects the essential characteristics of the curriculum based on life,society and nature.Therefore,this study combines the STEAM education concept into the teaching of the Mechanical Drawing course,in order to optimize the teaching effect of the Mechanical Drawing course,improve students’ professional skills and enhance students’ comprehensive attainment.In this study,the bibliographic analysis method is used to summarize the relevant background of the STEAM education concept and the teaching activities of "Mechanical Drawing",and define the relevant concepts.Educational experiments are carried out under the guidance of constructivist theory and multiple intelligence theory.Through questionnaires and interviews with students and teachers,it was found that the teaching influence of "Mechanical Drawing" was unsatisfactory.Students have high learning expectations,but their learning attitude is not correct,and their learning autonomy is poor.Teachers’ teaching methods and evaluation methods are relatively simple,and it is expected to break the traditional teaching mode and develop a new teaching mode.According to the teaching status of the course of "Mechanical Drawing" in the practice school,the author combined with the STEAM education concept for targeted teaching design,and selected two parallel classes as the experimental group and the control group for educational experiments.After the completion of the educational experiment,the students were tested in stage and questionnaire,and SPSS21.0 software is used to analyze the data by statistics,in order to obtain all-round,multi-angle and scientific conclusions to verify the results of the educational experiment.The results show that the teaching of mechanical drawing,which integrates the STEAM education concept,is recognized by the students,and students’ learning interest,learning attitude and learning autonomy has been improved.The integration of the STEAM education concept improves the overall grade of the class,improves the learning state of students,enables students to develop standardized drawing habits,cultivates students’ rigorous work style,and improves students’ comprehensive literacy.This paper verifies the effectiveness of the combination of STEAM education philosophy into the teaching of "Mechanical Drawing",and provides a reference for teachers to implement curriculum reform for teaching design,teaching implementation,teaching evaluation,etc. |
